Exactly what you might expect from a diner! Greasy hang-over food delight! Only issue was that the potatoes were really weird for breakfast potatoes - overheard the cook say that he boiled them and that's what they were, boiled potatoes.
This place makes you feel like you stepped back to the 1940's, when you walk through the front door, the layout, the architecture, the atmosphere, the smells, it feels like a suction cup just yanking you back 80 years. It's awesome, and the food is awesome as well. The staff is lively and you enjoy your time there, it's a unique experience that I advise anyone to try. There's a reason these folks have been in Scranton since 1920.
Got the famous texas weiner special and fresh cut fries with cheese & gravy on the side. Never disappoints.
In and out, quick brunch. Seeing cousin off to the airport, ended getting our stuff to go.. very nice & accommodating staff. Friendly.( Accessible cook.)

FUNNY STORY & WORTH THE READ:I work for doordash and pick up orders from here all the time. I have always wanted to try their food.. the environment inside and the vibe the employees and business itself give off are just beyond words. So tonight I was out doordashing and decided I wanted to order food. I had DoorDash credit so I ordered almost $40 worth of their homemade breakfast. When my dasher dropped off my food, it was one small bag. Immediately I was like “WHATTTT” I opened it and ONE BAGEL. I can not make this up. I call keystone and the women I spoke with- I didn’t get your name but if you see this you were so sweet regardless of this horrific pandemic & short staffing issue- she says there were 2 bags and clearly the dasher just didn’t look. Obviously because the names are labeled on EVERY. SINGLE. BAG. So I told her I was dashing tonight anyway I can grab it on my way to pick up an order. She so kindly offered to move it back with them so it stayed warm. I wasn’t able to get it for about 30-45 min. IT WAS STILL WARM!! When I took my first bite, it was like eating at your hometown table surrounded by your loved ones. If I can recommend any place in scranton, THIS IS THE ONE.!!
