Wanted something different and non chain restaurant that was great.I decided to ask our waiter what he likes and how he likes it and that's what I got.It was terrific!....and I had something I haven't ordered before in my meat selection. Burritos are huge, kids meal was perfect size, and tostadas were really good to boot.

The food is absolutely amazing. The queso may be the best I've ever had. I take cheese very seriously, so that's a big compliment! Both our main dishes were under $10 and the portions were so large that even this pregnant mom couldn't eat half of it! So glad we made a pit stop on Scranton!

Trusted the Google reviews on this one and SO GLAD we did. We were a party of 8 and every one of us loved their meal and left saying it was the best Mexican they’d had. Al pastor is delicious as is the Chilaquiles Pavel. And the guacamole and queso. Staff was wonderful and so fun. Definitely recommend this place!

I was in the mood for Mexican and gave this place a try. From the outside it didn't look like much but when I walked in it was a cool, spacious place. I sat at the bar and Pavell was my bartender. Um he was ok I guess, its just that when I asked certain things or didn't like something he would look at me like I was silly which wasn't cool. He is not the reason I am giving 4 stars.I ordered the sangria first and I didn't like it so I got the red wine instead which was good. I then went with the fish tacos and boy was it tasty. The sauce and ingredients were so good. I also enjoyed their chips and salsa. The bill was super affordable for all that I had as well.

Love this place! We’ve ate at the restaurant multiple times and have also ordered takeout for an evening with family. On all accounts, delicious food and wonderful service. We’ve ate here with our 3 yro, and the staff is always so pleasant and kind. The prices are very reasonable, the quality is great, and the portions are huge. The burritos are enormous. Don’t be deterred by the street parking; it’s totally worth it.

Super delicious and well-made Mexican food with a reasonable price. Service is great too. Cannot recommend this place enough! No parking lot available, but it's well worth it to find roadside parking to eat at Italo's.

I cannot say enough about this little place, they get the win on every level. Friendly staff that treat you more like family than a customer, never a long Wait time, not too expensive, and of course the food is the best in the greater scranton area. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Wow...a hidden gem in Scranton!!!! We both had two Mexican dishes and they were outstanding.... Very tasty and large portions, more like it used to be before the pandemic ..I wish we lived closer, we would stop a lot more often.

DELICIOUS!! My girlfriend and I have been here a total of (2) times. One was last month, and the other time was yesterday. Both of the times we would get the “Aztec Plate”, which is one of the pricier options on the menu. It features Chorizo Sausage, Steak, Chicken, Mexican Cheese, Shrimp, Cacti, Scallions, and Poblano Peppers in the main platter. On the side you get tortillas, fried beans, rice, and pico de galo. HUGE serving as it is meant for two people. My girlfriend and I always walk out with leftovers.MUST GO!! The best Mexican food in Scranton!! The waiters here are phenomenal and the place is cozy! Margaritas are DELICIOUS!
