Amazing food! Large portions. Menu had a lot of different choices. Highly recommend!

Service was surprisingly mediocre... im not expecting a huge welcome rug but a smile and a hello are helpful in making a customer not feel like a burden. The burritos were also unimpressive.. I actually wanted to give one star but I don't want to mess with the overall ratings of a small independent restaurant. Won't be back.

Had chicken empanadas from here. I have to say that these are probably the worst empanadas I’ve ever tasted. It had absolutely NO flavor, whatsoever. No salt or anything. It’s really disappointing to not be able to find a good Mexican spot out here. I’m better off making them myself at home.

I'm only leaving a review because I just saw a review with a picture of half eaten guacamole that looks old, and I just want to say that I have never ever had a terrible experience there, with the staff or quality of the food. The food is always top tier and so is the staff keep up the great work everyone!

Some places are more than the food! I ate here with some friends while visiting on a work trip. While the food is different than what Im used to back in Texas, the guacamole and the homemade chips were outstanding! What puts this place over the top, however, are the people working here! My wallet fell out of my pocket in the parking lot and was recovered by an employee and turned in. I called this morning and was able to recover my wallet intact. I even tried to tip them for their help and honesty, but they refused.Good ,honest people are hard to find, but you will find them here. Pay it forward is all he said, that I will do!!?

Been going to Chicano's for close to 20 years. If I go to Scranton, I don't even have to be hungry to stop in. Love this place. The steak tacos with cilantro and lime are a definite go to for me, the wife would get the al pastor.... delicious. The chimichanga and wet burritos are fantastic. Years ago my wife and friend had the whole fried fish, I thought it was snapper but I could be wrong. Either way they loved iton 4-5 different visits.... it was stuffed with herbs veggies, nice cuts on the sides to get the seasonings in the fish, then fried up nice and crispy.Growing up in LA with authentic Mexican food all around, Chicano's is a winner in my book.

Great tacos, the secret is to use the chip dip as sauce on them. Shakes are good to. Service is impeccable and the food comes out right on time. Not the biggest fan of the tortillas but that might just be my taste

Our favorite place for Mexican food in Scranton. Have also used them for catering- very reasonable. Jorge and his staff are the best!

Went here for lunch, the service was fast and great, and the food was delicious. I recommend the horchata and the vegetarian enchiladas.

Bought a steak and chicken burrito with salsa and chips for my daughter and IAnd I’m finna call em up right now and raise hell!! THE BEST in Scranton only thing missing for me is queso but I’ve learned it’s a Mexican American dishOther than that the burrito was packed with flavor, the sauce and salsa! Now I love cilantro!!Grateful
