I came here with my husband for lunch during the week. We hadn't made a reservation and yet the host was more than willing to find us a table. The first bonus point came down to the relaxing, up-to-date aesthetic which is kept to a minimal but says a lot about the restaurant's personality and quality of food. The second bonus point was that the staff were dressed in a smart-casual manner and so customers aren't made to feel as though they need to be in formals just to dine there. The waiting staff were also very clean and organised, no one looked out of place or bored. On first glance of the menu, we noticed a great variety of dishes to choose from, but nothing too overwhelming. I'm a strong believer that excessively lengthy menus usually mean the food is frozen. This one, however, was brief and to the point. It was also a pleasure to see authentic Italian dishes instead of "Spaghetti and meatballs" (very American). Instead, we had spruced up risotto, freshly made pasta, a refined seafood selection, a mixture of tapas-like options, and the choice of meat or meat-free meals. We opted for a perfectly depicted appetiser from the Specials Menu - we certainly were not disappointed! The person(s) behind the menu needs a huge kiss for the simple yet delicious combinations that they've put together. It's so nice to taste fresh ingredients, too! I cannot fault the staff. Our waitress was on form and continued to check up on us even when service suddenly grew busier. The drink selection was refreshing and fun to sample. Then to top everything off, they even serve scrumptious, Italian style Gelato made in-house. Che buonissimo! I would definitely recommend this place for a romantic date night, a casual lunch-date with friends, or even a work-lunch meeting.

This place is a hidden Gem. I have been living in the area for a short period and have tried so many places that I have lost count. I have been endlessly disappointed with the food as I have high expectations when I go out to eat. I must say this place is absolutely fabulous. The food is delicious, the drinks were great and the deserts as well. My family and I could not be more delighted. Thank you to the chef/s, management and servers. Everything was amazing this Easter Sunday. I highly recommend this place.
We sat at the pizza bar. Although it wasn't comfortable, it was really cool to watch them make the food in the wood oven. They have more than pizza on their menu, but I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

Scranton, site of “The office” TV series, “electric city”. There is street parking available, Bar Pazzo look from outside is not in anyway unique or spectacular, however inside style is airy and bright with industrial chic decor. High ceilings, and use of wood and artworks are noticeable. They have open kitchen and two wood fired ovens. Bathroom was clean and nice. Server was trained and efficient.We ordered roasted Octopus which was tasty, followed by pork chop that was juicy and two pizzas. Bronx Bomber is similar to meat lover pizza and Scrantonian is like pepperoni pizza. Both were hot and a bit dark at the bottom that I have seen in wood fired oven pizzas. Establishment is clean and there is moderate level of noise. Good for getting together with friends and maybe your date, you need to be close to each other to hear ?all in all good, average probably 30-40$ per person.??
Talk to Meee..! Loud... Vivacious... Fun... and Terrribbblllyyyy... DELICIOUS! It's worth the wait, and absolutely worth leaving your boring friends at home so you can order ONE... of.. EVERYTHING...!!! Great atmosphere... Fantastic Service... and the FOOD... speaks gorgeously... for itself!!!
First time there. It's a nice place to have something to eat and drink. Stuff was very nice! We also enjoyed watching them making pizzas.
Bar Pazzo is one of my favorite restaurants in Scranton. The atmosphere is welcoming and open, and the food is very good. The whipped ricotta appetizer is a must.
My experience at Barr Pazzo was exceptional! My server was friendly and attentive. My favorite was my pork chop, which was juicy and flavorful. At the end, a sudden suprise happened when I was going to pay…. my waiter said “the men that just left paid for your meal.” I hope one day someone is just as kind to those gentleman ,they were most generous. Thank you !!!!
