Playing a baseball tournament nearby and stopped here after the game. Sat ourselves and waited 10 minutes and no one came over to take a drink order or give us menus. We left. Was looking forward to trying the wings. Too bad.
This place honestly was terrible. The waitress Amy was rude and idk if it was that we were lgbt or what. super rude waitress and it sucks to be getting that kind of hospitality on my birthday. Never coming here again.
Exceptional wings! Lots of flavors to choose from, perfectly done, very good price! The onion rings were very tasty as well. The atmosphere was really nice, and our waitress, Sheila was amazing! I have been told their chili is really good too! Most of all, it was cool to share time w my brother. 10 starts for the Van Reed and if you don't take some time to visit, you are missing out! One of Berks County's best!
I was very happy with the wings. Large selection of sauces and dry rubs. If you like a little heat and lots of flavor I recommend the Irish Pride.
I went there 2 times in 3 days because the wings were AMAZING! On Thursday (happy hour time), the bartender was awesome. She was attentive, kind and friendly. The bartender on Saturday was not quite as pleasant. She maybe smiled once. We are all entitled to a bad day which is why I’m still leaving a 5-star review. I prefer giving people the benefit of the doubt. The food (especially the wings) is 5 stars and so is *most* of the service. Definitely give it a go!!!
On Saturday my girlfriend and I wanted to try out the hype of one of the best wings in Berks County. Our first issue was the sign outside said they have Yuengling Chocolate Porter on tap. Which they didn't have. We then asked for an alcohol menu which they apparently don't have either... For the "Best wings in Berks" we were VERY disappointed by the EXTREME amount of saltiness on them. We both needed to order a water to help because of it. On a positive note the wings were very nice sized wings, and the best thing of it all was the fresh cut fries.
Went here last night. Leshane the bartender was extremely busy & he was still able to help with our food & drink order in an efficient manner. My husband loved the smoked wings & my salad was large & tasty. Glad we stopped in.
Very tasty wings. My only “complaint” is that I wish they were crispier. I like my wings really crispy, and that is the only thing lacking. Other than that, very flavorable and a wide variety of sauce options.

First time there with my family we picked our table (because the sign on the door said please seat yourself) waited for about 15-20 mins and no one waited on us. We’re a Hispanic family so when we showed up we got some looks, maybe that’s why weren’t waited on because we didn’t fit the environment. Either way there was several staff that looked over at us and nothing so we decided to go somewhere else and it’s not like the place was busy I guess we just picked a bad place to eat. Hope people of my kind see this review so they can steer clear of that establishment.
