From the moment my friend and I walked in the Knights Pub we were greeted with warmth and attentiveness. Both the hostess and the server John were the absolute best. The hostess /Restaurant manager heard I was having my birthday dinner there and insisted on bringing us a complementary dessert. Every course was delicious and memorable. The backdrop of the beautiful wooded terrace and grounds where you could almost imagine yourself outside with the large glass sliding window doors is unique. The whole evening was magnificent…the setting, the food, and the service… I have rarely been so attended to at a restaurant in my life. Thank you for making this a memorable evening with your beautiful venue and excellent staff and cuisine that I will remember for a lifetime!

Big menu and full of yummy and delicious food. Something for everyone. Outdoor fire pits, clean and maintained landscaping. Pleasant staff and servers. Appears to be fully staffed! A+

As my wife and I are moving out of state we decided for one last visit to Stokesay. The food is always great and the atmosphere is wonderful. We truly enjoyed being there over the years and the countless weddings that took place. Definitely recommend it

Not good! Such a shame because it is a beautiful area surrounding. Food was VERY mediocre, service was bad (felt bad for our waitress who was trying her best), and way overpriced. They wouldn’t allow us to split the bill on two credit cards; seriously! Just stupid. I will not go back.

First time there, and it met every expectation I had about the place. Love the food and the staff was amazing. Only problem is that according to my friend, I can't go back by myself. They didn't like the idea of me going back on my own. So, I guess I won't be returning for a while. Lol.Definitely recommended it. If you love food and a good time. You won't be disappointed it. ?

I had the joyous opportunity to be treated to a magnificent dinner at the knights pub! From the moment we entered the beautiful dining room, our lovely and charming hostess,Sherri made me feel the warm glow of belonging. Our server was equally wonderful. Go! Now!

Love the location and the venue. Problems are with the time it took for our food. Had a party of 7 and waited over an hour for our food. Watched others be seated after us and have their food delivered and finish eating before we even got our food. Food showed up cold. I would have left but was with family. The wait staff just walked by and did not keep us up to date on issues. At 1 hour and 45 minutes later the food arrived (cold) and we ended up boxing up the food and headed out.I understand it is hard to get staff these days but this was very excessive. Additionally, they did not tell us gratuity was include, but explains why we got little not no service from our waiter. It is a shame the location and building are awesome, but I would only go for a beer at the bar and then leave. Not worth the wait, but if you decide to go be prepared for a wait.

Thank You For Hosting the Berks County Republican Committee Last night with Kathy Barnette for U.S. Senate, Conservative Republican Candidate. It was very warm and welcoming. Food was excellent!

We haven’t visited every restaurant in Reading but we’ve visited the top four in the trip advisor ratings. The Knights Pub and Stokesay is by far the best restaurant among them. Best atmosphere, best menu, best service and for sure the best food. We were in town for the Berk’s Jazz Festival and we visited Stokesay on Saturday afternoon. We shared a Mexican shrimp appetizer that was the daily special. The appetizer was good, not great but good. We had a beer with the appetizer and a glass of wine with the meal. My wife had the salmon for her entree and I had the filet. Both of these dishes were excellent. The filet was cooked perfectly. This restaurant is for sure out top choice in Reading.

Used to be worth the money. Got a wedge salad. It was smaller than a side salad: had some lettuce leaves, 2 cherry tomatoes, 3 skinny slivers of cucumbers and dressing which was supposed to be blue cheese but ended up being all water and completely disgusting. Tasted like sour milk. The lobster Mac-n-Cheese had no taste and hardly any lobster. The macaroni was hard and chewy with dried out cheese on the top and runny milk on the bottom. No breadcrumbs as advertised. ??‍♀️ Not coming back for the food. Maybe drinks only. Totally over priced for garbage food. However our waiter was very professional. Felt sorry for him.
