Was one of the best Italian hoagies I've had in years! The last one I had that was this good was the one from Capri's in Doylestown, Pa many years ago! The only difference re: deliciousness was the one from Capri had sharp provolone vs. regular...hoping my next order I can get sharp on it! Still yum with regular provolone. The rolls we terrific the ratio of meat vs. "salad" was great. All three of us definitely enjoyed our hoagies! Will definitely make this a "go to" place and have already recommend it!
Excellent local sandwich shop. We tried a cheesesteak, italian, ham and turkey sandwich and they all were so good! This place is a must when in Reading!
Ordered just lettuce, cheese, mayo, butter and ham and they put on a bunch of spicy things which caused me to have to seek medical attention due to dietary restrictions. This place used to be good but they seem to need to learn to listen again.
The service has declined. The last 2 orders have been incorrect. I ordered 2 large Italians both with no mayo and both times the sandwiches had so much mayo that the meat fell off.
They're the best! Sandwiches are so fresh I have been a customer for over 20 years. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend this neighborhood sandwich shop. Very filling and convenient location.
So guys, I'm excited to tell you about THE BEST SANDWICH SHOP IN READING PERIOD small. I personally got the meatball sub. I have never had a meatball sub like this, the textures the smell the flavor that comes from pound Town USA, the employees are accommodating, and answered every question I had. The environment Only adds to the homemade feel of the sandwhichs
Their Sandwiches used to be Good Now their like a Salad ....where's the meat & cheese ?? and what meat that was on the Italian sandwich was so Thin and Skimpy No Oregeno No salt or pepper. you could see threw meat. Very Sad !!
New staff has me pretty annoyed. Go in to order a sandwich and the employees walk away when ordering. I call in and they put you on hold and don’t answer. I finally hang up after being on hold for 20mins. We call to order sometimes and the line is continuously busy. I went in their shop and called their phone. It was still busy because it’s left off the hook. We tell the employee and we get a “hmmhmm” and they never checked the phone. Clearly some of the employees don’t care. Not gonna get my business for awhile.
So glad independent sandwich shops are surviving in this Wawa world. Hopefully this place never closes. Super fresh and much better than any thing these chains offer
