Why does this location continue to be so unorganized? I ordered a drink on the app. I go inside to pick it up after receiving the email the order if ready. I wait… and wait… and finally ask and was told they don’t make the app ordered drinks anymore you just take a cup yourself and fill it… okay good to know. Next time I go in, take my cup, start filling it, and was asked if I placed and order as I can’t just take a cup that an empty cup will be waiting on the counter with my receipt to use. Third time I ordered… went in and back to waiting since I didn’t want to get scolded again and I wait… and wait and upon asking again I’m told they don’t have large cups so they can’t fulfill the order (after receive the email confirmation the order was complete)… am I being punked? I understand it’s just a drink but from a customer service standpoint it’s frustrating when each time you go in different rules apply and I’m never sure what to expect.
This review is for the new chicken sandwich only.My daughter and I both wanted to try the new chicken sandwich. We each ordered the exact same thing.. the "signature take" sandwich, a bowl of soup, a fountain drink, and for $0.99 we added a bakery item, and opted for the apple instead of more starch. The soup was great. Mexican street corn chowder. Pretty good. The pecan braid bakery item was great. The apples at Panera are consistently some of the smallest apples I've ever seen. The chicken sandwich. Sigh. Very underwhelming. The "emerald greens" were nearly missing (2 tiny pieces of wispy greens, possibly arugula). Had I not opened up the sandwich to scrape off some of the overpowering garlic aioli I wouldn't have even seen the greens. The parmesan crisps were also somewhat too "sharp" and could have used less of them. The chicken breast itself? Meh, nothing special here. Not terrible, not great. Both of the overwhelming flavors totally masked the taste of any chicken, but perhaps that's the point? The old saying "less is more" is appropriate here. So, all this for $44.22. Absolutely staggering for 2 chicken sandwich meals. $12.00 for a chicken sandwich? There is nothing on the chicken sandwich that warrants that price.
I am a huge fan of Panera Bread, I gave 4 stars because this location has teenagers with attitudes even the teenage “team leaders”. The dining room is always slightly eschew. Also every time I order pastry with my order they forget it if I order it via kiosk. Today I automatically asked at the front counter where I was met with an attitude from a senior adult stating it will come with my food.
I ordered online through their app for two iced vanilla madagascar coffees. Per the app the drinks would be ready for pick up when I got there. Little did I know that they do not make the specialty drinks for you if you order on the app. First time ordering there and it will be my very last. I told them it was my first experience there and no one really wanted to be bothered. They gave me two cups with syrup and was told to make my own drink. Sad part is that I tipped them when paying on my app only to be serving myself. Never again. Thought about joining the coffee club but that will be a hard no after this experience. Much easier and cheaper to order online and pick up at Wawa where the drinks are made for you.
really enjoyed the soup
Out of the correct bread for steak & white cheddar as well as pickled onions. Replaced with sourdough bread that was 3/4 bread 1/4 meat and cheese. No French bread to go with the soup either. Extremely disappointed for the cost of the meal.
For 10.99 this is your lettuce in the caeser saladI know it’s Panera breadnot Panera saladGood luck
Use caution, especially when ordering through the drive thur and paying with cash. This afternoon I decided to stop by for a smoothie. Although there was only one item on my order, I wasn't given my total until I drove around to the pick-up window. $6.03 was my total, I had $20 in my hand, but as soon as I learned the total I said "Hold on, I have the 3 cents." By that time the window had already been closed and the woman at the cash register spent about 30 seconds counting out change. They were out of quarters so she actually had to count other coins to reach the 97 cents. When she reopened the window to hand me my change, she said "sorry, we are out of quarters." I replied, "no problem, just take this 3 cents and give me a dollar back." she took my 3 cents and the handful of coins and closed the window. I guess she thought she deserved $1 tip for her ridiculous service, or she was just entirely confused at that point. Either way, my 12oz smoothie ends up costing me $7. That's pretty insane, but at least I will be saving money, by not spending anymore at this particular location, which happens to be the one closest to my home. Just be careful, as it seems that communication while using the drive thur is unreliable. Best of luck to future customers as well as those behind the counter.
Breads are considered artisan but are very tough and chewy. My large order included 4 different sandwiches. None were marked to indicate the type of sandwich in the wrapping. Ugh!!
Very nice and clean place. On Tuesday the sell bagels one dozen plus an extra one for 6.99 what is a real bargain. So if you like Panera bagels wait until Tuesday and you get a real bargain.
