The waitress didn't write down my order. Sure enough I ordered beef and received chicken, ordered an enchilada, received a chimichanga. The chimichanga was the best thing I had though, so I'm not too mad about it. The tortilla soup was huge, and the prices are great. I would recommend this place.
Reasonable prices and friendly staff. I always get the create your own combo meal and choose the pick 4 items. I leave full and satisfied.

Originally gave a 5 star review. Loved this place but it always happens, prices goes up and quality or quantity doesn't change. Food is delicious, but also bought me to a 57 dollar bill which is usually around 35 on a delivery app. I didn't know prices were raised and wanted to my friend to try their food since I praised it so much, so I went with it anyways. There is an overall $3, 4, 5+ increase in prices on most items and they forgot my chorizo in the fajitas platter which was a big let down.I don't understand why hidden gems have to turn bougie.
Move over Alebrije, there's a new Mexican restaurant in town. In addition to all the other Mexican restaurants in town, of which there are dozens, if not hundreds.Norte Sur got me my fajita fix throughout the pandemic. So affordable as every other restaurant jacked up their prices. Awesome variety and high quality ingredients. Excellent presentation as well.I have about half a dozen Mexican restaurants within walking distance, but I oftentimes order from Norte Sur (which is about five miles away) simply because it offers so much more value.Check out their lunch specials! You can feed your family of four for $30. That's a deal and a half in this economy.
Great place, I will say:This place is more a Tex Mex kinda place, I had the Chimichangas with 2 carnitas tacos ..Basic mexican south of border type Menu, for traveling people in between interstates. Also beware little pricey for the tacos in my opinion at $3.25 per piece and the tortilla is small and not even double like it should be so in my opinion not worth it, This is Reading PA, not Palo Alto California LOL. Which I've been and The tacos are way better and run for about - $3.00Other than that the food is fresh and we'll cooked .

Very tasty. Stopped in with my boy for his first carnitas. He gave them 10/10. Normally says he doesn’t like tacos. Friendly staff, clean establishment, fast service, reasonable price, delicious food.
Great find. Mexican food was well prepared. Loved the green creamy salsa. The chkn tostada plate was very filling. Skip the margaritas unless you like sugary drinks. No thanks.
