Roger you really need to talk to your staff. I mentioned to one you have been charging me $4 for a half gallon chocolate milk and she said not any more the price will skyrocket. Needless to say I just walked out. Sick of people ripping me off in there and i won't be back.Edit- read down a couple reviews and think I saw the very rude waitress that thinks she makes up the prices not the owner
Went in today and had a BANGING!!!!! breakfast !! The bacon was made to perfection.
I went here for the first time about a month ago and it was amazing! awesome staff our waitress was pregnant and an amazing server she told us it was her last day so we made sure to give her a better tip:)
THey serve breakfast all day long. Order a mess and you'll have a delightful filling meal at an affordable price. A small mess is large and a large mess is really sharable for 2 people or more. The locals go here. It may be a dive--but it's OUR dive.
Ordered by phone and picked it up when they said it would be ready, and as usual 1 of the best breakfasts in berks without a doubt.
I ordered food and waited over an hour after they told me 20 mins. Then I ordered my home fries well down and I feel like I’m eating mashed potatoes and the onions are raw. I get they were busy but at least get my food right when making me wait. They used to be so much better. Idk what has happened.
This place definitely has good food. It is the customer service that lacks big time. The lady that answers the phone ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS sounds like she has an attitude. When I go to pay this white heavy set lady always grabs my card and then slams it down on the counter. She is not friendly at all. Does not say thank you have a good day no nothing she just stands there with an attitude like you just mess her day up by coming in. Please work on your customer service skills. If it wasn't for the customers you guys would not be in business!
I highly recommend getting rid of the young girl with the Bebe hoodie and white crocs. THE RUDEST human I ever seen. Literally, I never complain about someone’s attitude but she was radiating her desire to not be there. No eye contact, rude responses, on her phone and eating in the front... If she is someone’s daughter that owns the place I get it but seriously why have someone represent your establishment that is just blatantly making it look like the want to be fired. If you can’t fire her at least teach her how to be a nice human or get she needs to get out of customer service. Maybe put her in the back or something?
Had the mini mess (without peppers and onions) I advise you to get extra cheese for more flavorful taste and keep the onions and peppers in for flavor. Other than that great food and nice service !
This place is a hidden gem. I've been visiting for the past 8 years. They serve delicious breakfast freshly made and served by an incredible staff. My favorite is the mess with sausage, bacon and ham. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and enjoy with toast. Customer service is always the best. I recommend this place.
