Personally I think their pizza is the best in the area. I used to swear by Brunos but found myself switching to GiovannasNice selection of beers, great sandwiches and everything is always hotI have to say that I moved out of the area in 2015 and he actually remembered me from 2015 which was impressive considering how many customers they haveOnly issue at times is pickup as they are busy and your order might not be ready in the designated time. That said you can order a draft beer and play some machines while waiting
Best Italian in Berks. These guys feel like family. The food is good and it’s made by people with good hearts. Good is always top notch, always more than enough and the prices are good. Giovanna’s is my home town Italian restaurant for life. Thanks guys for always being good to me.

The owner is rude and nasty as h e l l. We’ve been here multiple times now and his bad attitude stands out more than anything else. If he had some common decency, this wouldn’t be such a bad place to eat.

Last two phone orders from Giovanna’s that I called in were not prepared until I arrived at the restaurant and reminded them what I ordered. Today I was told 10 minutes for two cheesesteaks and they took 40 minutes, including waiting there for a half hour. The food wasn’t even up to par this time. The cheesesteak meat was disgustingly greasy and i could tell the meat had been sitting on the grill for a long time. Never again.
Five star review is based on the pizza only. The place isn’t the cleanest and they were making sandwiches with no gloves.

Never has there been a place where I had such a delectable pizza. The rich aroma and environment of Giovanni’s pizza could attract anyone for miles. The pizza came fast, quick, and filled with all of Giovanni’s special ingredients that add the chefs kiss to the meal.
