LOOOOVEEEEEE THIS DINER!!! thank god somebody stays open 24/7!!!! & with a banging bar & all the drinks you could imagine & so. much. food. not your typical diner SOOOO worth it here!! amazing staff, wonderful prices, so happy there such yummy eats hehe??? ?? oh!!! & they have actual hashbrowns..???????

I had a good time at Exeter Diner with my Dad and Lori. I ate a Salad and the Back Yard Macaroni and Cheese. Along with some Bread and butter. Also A Bowl of Tomato and Basil Soup. Good eats!

As an Exeter resident, I have been going to E-fam for breakfast for years. In fairness...the breakfast is good. And the service is usually good. There are several servers there that know us after all of these years...and they are great! (So I am giving the servers and the food preparers a rating of "4+"...and I mean no disrespect to them with my rating today). The restaurant is always busy...so they are certainly doing something right. I had previously written a good review with a high rating. WHAT BOTHERS ME IS THIS....for the last 5 or 6 times we have gone there, I simply cannot get over how rude and unpleasant the "host" is. I am not certain, but a waitress referred to him as "the boss" so he may be the owner or a relative of the owner....I don't know. Whatever he is....he is not a good host and certainly shouldn't be the "face" of the restaurant. Just to be clear...he is short, shaved head, fit looking guy....that ALWAYS has a puss on his face!!! He doesn't say hello, walks you to your table, throws some menus down and walks away without saying a word (that description represents the standard "greeting" you receive at E-fam!!) When you go to pay at the end....he doesn't even look up, never looks you in the eye, never smiles and never says thank you. Today...he handed me my change while looking in another direction and turning away without saying a word. With today's inflation, our breakfast for 3 people was $50 and I left a $10 tip. Is a smile and a thank you too much to ask?? And its not just a bad day for him....I have experienced this MANY times now. It gripes me so much....that I am going to give a few other local diners a try next time we go out for breakfast. Word of advice for this VERY unpleasant host/boss..... SMILE once in a while!! A smile costs you nothing....and it makes a difference!! Based on the business you are doing ....I would think you would be laughing, smiling and skipping all the way to the bank with your profits. Show your customers a little bit of appreciation....before more decide to try elsewhere like me!! This man's pathetic demeanor ...just resulted in a lost "regular".....as I like to start my day with a smile!!! THANK YOU FOR READING MY REVIEW....AND HAVE A GREAT DAY!!! (see how easy that is???)

Food and prices are pretty reasonable, nothing insane but definitely nice for a cheap meal. Staff was very friendly and always topped off my drink. The soup selection has some interesting choices, classic exotic Pennsylvania. Open 24 hours so eating here while plastered at 2am is possible if you are committed enough. The water could use some work.

Three couples enjoyed a nice breakfast here on a busy Saturday morning. I had the Mexicali skillet which was filling. Our table ate at a very reasonable cost with the bill coming to $77. Great food options & cost. I recommend this restaurant as a breakfast option. ?

A great 24-hoiur diner with a varied menu, soup and salad bar, and a full liquor bar too.Tasty meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Daily specials like the Shepherds Pie (with side order of peas) is delicious and even the half order is a big meal. I'm a fan of their buttermilk pancakes with a side order of real maple syrup.Friendly service, they are outgoing and they hustle. This diner also offers rake out orders.

Went there last night, even though they only had 2 staff they made it work. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. The place is nice. Cool place to go after being out. Id recommend

It was better before the pandemic. But the pandemic hit it a little too hard. And the new waitress on morning weekday shifts. Do a lot of standing around and talking to each other. We were waited on to get our order and to hand our check. There wasn't even a check in to make sure our food was good. We couldn't get ahold of them for more drinks or hot sauce.

Our server Blanca was absolutely AMAZING!!! She was so friendly and bubbly with a big personality. I love that in someone. She provided excellence in customer service all the way. Our food came fairly quickly which was great because we were starving. The amount of food we received for $22 was pretty enormous! The food was good and the service was the best I've had. You now have a customer for life.

I've stopped by twice after a long late work day. Both times I got their turkey and bread filling dinner. The soup/salad bar is included. I left filled to the gills and happy as a clam!
