Loved them previously but this past year we did a delivery order and our pizzas were wrong. We called and the owner spoke with my fiancé, was very rude to him and said he made our pizzas and they weren’t incorrect and hung up on him. Will never go there again.
It took us over 30 mins to order our appetizers, while we were seated at the bar. When we asked the bartender if we could order atleast our appetizers she ignorantly responded, “that’s not my job, you’ll have to wait for the server” and she walked away from us. The new bartender was yelled at publicly in front of the other patrons from the owner…not the way business should be conducted! Just as I thought it couldn’t get any worse, the waitress came over, took our appetizer order and we placed two entree orders to go since it was already over an hour before any order was submitted. I used to be a patron of this restaurant but, they’ve literally purged all of the old employees and it’s really gone down hill. After this experience, I figured I wouldn’t return. But it doesn’t end there! I get home and the entrees I order, they were all wrong! By this point I was a bit irritated so I called back and spoke to the owner. I let him know of my poor experience and how my orders weren’t right…and that I found a piece of aluminum foil in my food! Working in restaurants early on in my life, It’s best to be apologetic and try (within reason) to console the customer and ask how the problem could be rectified. I let him know that I lived far away since I met someone for their birthday in the area and I asked politely if he could refund my card for the issues with this ordeal. He responded “YOU CAN DRIVE BACK HERE SO YOU CAN SHOW ME ITS WRONG!” As if to call me a liar, real professional! I again told him, I’m not driving all the way back up there at 8pm at night. He replied, “okay then, goodbye” The only “good bye” you’ll get from me is the fact that I’ll never return to this PATHETIC establishment run by a pathetic owner! Oh, and tell your “cooks” to learn to do just that and maybe learn a thing or two about being a business owner and treating your customers with some dignity and maybe even your own employees!
Date of visit: Saturday 28 May 2022. I was a first time customer today. I've been meaning to try this restaurant since moving to this part of town. The restaurant had very few customers when we were there probably because of the holiday weekend. Esposito's has quite an impressive menu of Italian goodies to choose from. My friend had the California burger with fries and I had the sausage sandwich with sauce and melted cheese. No picture available to post. I would come back here. Curious to explore their pizza.
Place continues to astound me- hiding away in a mostly takeout-style pizza shop is the best pasta dishes in the greater Berks County area. Ordered Sphagetti Puttanesca, no mild version here- salty, fish-based, marinara with medley of Italian olives & capers. Excellent! Chicken Parmigiana- simple dish that delivers a super-sized portion of pounded chicken breast & bowl of pasta as side. Penne Boscaiola- tubular pasta in perfect pink cream sauce with mushrooms, peas, & onions. This place has mastery over aurora-style sauces- not just spooning jarred marinara over milky Alfredo. Any of their blush sauces taste painstakingly created from béchamel with good amount of butter & cream. Giant loaf of bread, wonderful, & dipping oil you could drink- salty, herb-infused, with some heat. Dessert. Woman could just sell cheesecakes & she'd have my vote all day. Constant rotation of home-made, New York-Style, not overly sweet, cheesecake that includes every flavor adaptation you can conceive. Cannolis, outstanding! Have also enjoyed decent cheesesteaks on previous visit). Order in, grab table by back bar, & enjoy feast that will put you in best carb coma you've had all year. Wait staff friendly, prices fair, portions generous.
Be prepared to take some dinner home! Large portions, good variety of choices and friendly servers.
I was in yesterday afternoon and ordered an ordered 2 Italian sandwiches. One was a speciality due to food allergies. upon returning home my mail later came and there was a coupon buy one get one free. I then called and explained that the mail came late and asked if they could still honor the coupon since I live a few blocks away. The woman manager got really snotty with me on the phone and said "Absolutely Not! What do you think I am, made of money. Coupons must b presented at the time of service, u snooze u lose" R u kidding. I also work customer service and I also know the customer is to be treated with RESPECT AT ALL TIMES! WELL SORRY ESPOSITOS U JUST LOST URSELF A CUSTOMER AND EARNED YOURSELF A "F" REVIEW

Such a nice place to eat but I'm second guessing my choice,The counter help Colette her fingers where stained yellow from smoking i mean I don't know if she touched my food I hope not don't they make sure the workers are clean I was highly upset I won't be coming if she's working again.i mean I really hope she doesn't handle the food.
My wife and I eat here fairly often and we are always happy with our food and service. Frank, the owner, is an awesome guy and we always look forward to seeing him and his wife when we go. Always smiling and polite along with the others. Everyone who works there is friendly, welcoming, and great people to be around. The pizza is amazing and if you haven't tried the lobster ravioli, you're seriously missing out. I highly recommend dining in or take out!
