We had a party and some of the food, everyone was living it and asking where they can get it. So I went to the restaurant and loved the fact that you can see them dishing it out for you, will definitely be going back!
This restaurant is a new location. I used to go and liked the old location.This new restaurant is stand alone where you choose for around $10-$13 for lunch rice 1 meat, beans and a drink..Just watch out for the up charges (salad and plantains are extra). Check the menu pictures below or ask the lady prior to choosing.Service was good and staff friendly . I did ask the lady if I could try one type of meat to see if I like it before ordering but she said no.The food is always good.A friendly suggestion: I just wish they were not that strict with what comes on the plate and let people mix items(they control the portion so it should not be a problem and they have lots of choices already cooked). I was afraid to try anything because of the up charges.They would have a lot more customers that way as they were not that busy at lunch time when we were there.
Food is amazing. The cook gets a 5. The customer service needs much improvement.
Not having steak sandwich was very disappointing, but having a Cuban sandwich even more. Roasted pork was very dry, very salty sandwich in general, and bread was old and not toasted at all!
Need to hire servers with better customer service skills. The service is horrible. I asked a question and she responded with an attitude. I was the only customer there and had to wait until she felt like serving me so I left. If that’s how they treat their clients, I wonder how the food tastes. NOT RECOMMENDED!
I went once a few months ago and said I wouldn’t go back because of the poor customer service. Today I decided to give them another shot…different lady this time same awful customer service. They make no eye contact, they ask you what you want literally “que quieres” without a smile on their face just looking down at the food. They don’t treat the people who are bringing them the money with any decency. “Algo mas!” in the same tone and then walks away to the next person. They need to train these employees or maybe pay them more because they are miserable as hell!!

The restaurant was clean, the food was decent, if the customer service was good, they would've gotten 5 stars. The servers seem to have an attitude and appear to not want to be bothered and it's such a shame as this location is within walking distance from my home. I'll try them out again in a few weeks to see if that changes.
The place is clean has a large parking and food is amazing and the Cuban sandwich is omg soooo good The customer service was nice .This is a family environment to go eat with your family and enjoy this was my experience at el Único restaurant
