Nice place to take the Family. Food was great, had the Lobster roll sandwich. Decorations were fun! With the pirates. Server older gentlemen was AWESOME! So attentive and upbeat.
Wow! What a find. I had no idea there was such an amazing eatery so close. I discovered the Crab Barn last week and felt I stepped through a portal in time and space. The entire experience was excellent. I felt I could see the sand and ocean through the windows. And what an amazing and historic building. I've never been in a more well decorated seafood restaurant. And the food was 5 star to match. Our waiter John was very friendly and knowledgeable. The service was awesome. Can't wait to bring friends and family back to the Crab Barn. A unique diamond in the rough for sure.
The food was awesome and the server Patty was a treasure! We came to celebrate father's day and we couldn't have had a better experience.
Great atmosphere great service. Steak was not recommended by server. All 4 in my group purchased seafood boil. Wasn't really pleased with boil. It looked like food was steamed an placed in a huge bowl of melted butter. Food was ok overall but I wouldn't return.
We made a reservation for a party of 5 online Tuesday evening for Saturday evening dinner. We arrived about 25 minutes early and were greeted by a nice gentleman who sat us immediately instead of having us wait until our reserved time. Gretchen was our assistant for the evening. She went through the many evening specials without skipping a beat. We were given a proper amount of time to decide on the menu and Gretchen was back for our order in a timely manner. We had fresh shucked oysters, bacon wrapped scallops, boom boom shrimp, potato wedges and cream of crab soup for appetizers on the table. The main courses included the fried oyster platter, steak and cake, broiled crab cakes platter and seafood ravioli. Everything and I mean everything was perfectly prepared, came out piping hot and tasted amazing. The price tag was high but with everything costing almost twice what it used to, it was expected. We will be back for sure and already have a game plan, haha. Kuddos to Gretchen for service that ranked up there with the best I've ever had. The service, atmosphere and food made for a wonderful evening. Well done Crab Barn.
Decided to try a new place for dinner as we had been craving seafood. We ordered 3 bacon wrapped scallops, calamari, full rack or ribs, a burger with bacon and cheese and 2 lbs of crab legs. Everything was burned and the crab legs were slightly warm.. an extreme disappointment.. my teen had the burger, I was super disappointed when I saw her scrapping off the thick top layer of burned char. I sent it back and told them to keep my order of ribs as I had enough and didn’t want anything more .. I was super disappointed. To top off the bill was over $170 and we still needed to opt for fast food after that.. such a letdown.. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Esp since it wasn’t even busy as the time of our service 830 on a Saturday night.. yes never again! Don’t waste your time money or experience on this place.
If they name of the place has crab in but they don’t have crabs, go elsewhere. They were out of crab legs, crab cakes and crawfish. The fish and chips had no flavor. Our fried plantains were cold in the middle. Besides the food, why does a seafood restaurant have a stuff elk, bear, fox and a mountain lion for their decor? It makes no sense. Our waitress was really nice and tried her best to serve us a good meal.
I had gotten the seafood crab broil that they offer and honestly I’ve never been so disappointed. My potatoes were not cooked through all the way the corn on the cob was so over done it was mush. And to even add on top to get crabby, I received a whole 4 shrimp and one small cluster of a total of 4 crab legs for 32 dollars. Then had added the gratuity fee on it when we had 4 people and the menu specifically listed that if you had a party of 5 or more it would be added. Hone

Wanted to take my mom for a great birthday dinner and we were so excited to try this place drove 45 minutes to be very disappointed. The service was awful Kevin treated us like we were an inconvenience the moment we walked in the door. Tried to pack my sons dinner up before the rest of the table even got their food and he was obviously still eating. When we had questions he would roll his eyes if we took a minute he would get all frustrated and look away. The food was okay not very much flavor in their specials.
