Staying at the Double tree and normal don’t eat at the restaurant in hotels but this place is not your normal hotel diner. I had breakfast last month and it was outstanding so though I would try dinner. This cob is 18 bucks but, as you can see is a huge salad. So good. Would recommend to friends and family!
Great food and service. The prices are a bit steep but I guess you have to eat some how. My meal for the burger with side salad was $16.00. My daughters meal was $18.00 she just had a different burger. Great decor and atmosphere.
Based off the service it was phenomenally great customer service it was one of the best places to visit. Emery our waiter was great. The manager DJ excellent.will work out anything within means. The chef needs work. Great bar atmosphere great time to have
Attended Berks Jazz Fest and went to Cheers American Bistro. The atmosphere was festive, food was delicious and the service was great. Prices were reasonable for a restaurant located in the Doubletree by Hilton. Located directly across from the Santander Arena. Plenty of on-street, metered and garage parking nearby. Will definitely be returning...
My family and I recently stayed at the Double Tree, and were definitely pleasantly surprised by Cheers!A small but quality menu, with nightly dinner specials also added, there is something for everyone. Personally I had the Spaghetti and Meatballs, and it was fantastic!The Pulled Chicken Noodle soup is a nice light option for an appetizer, and the French Onion soup is a must try!While there seemed to be a slight shortage in staff, our waiter and the hostess did everything they could to ensure our experience was not effected. They were pleasant and were truly enjoyable to deal with.Nice bar area with a good beer and specialty drink menu as well!Lastly, if your a guest, they really have a nice breakfast that is given for free! I was surprised at the amount of choices, and can say it was an enjoyable meal as well.Hotel restaurants can truly be hit or miss…and Cheers is definitely a HIT!Happy Eating!
Happened to be at the Doubletree during dinner time and needed to eat. I am usually not a fan of hotel restaurants but this one was an exception! The Cornell Fried Chicken sandwich is a must! Also a nice selection of local beers. I highly recommend Cheers!
Such a pleasant surprise! Delicious dinner and fantastic staff- so impressed with our experience there. My husband chose the BBQ Meatloaf and said it was very good. His mashed potatoes were super- I kept stealing tastes! I chose the Vegan Loaf and it was outstanding- wish I could have it frequently! So good!!! They also gave me a gluten free roll which was delicious!
Excellent, beautiful decor, spotless. Most clean silverware EVER @ an eating establishment. Staff very efficient and friendly. This Hotel is Reading's gem, they hire Reading residents & assist with housing.

Ask for Adam R!Adams, Knows the menu and such a great Server with personality to match!Food is Great and great comfortable seating….The bar is very nice also!?On a side note…. I watched Adam and the Hostess clean off a 8 top table with Ease….Best Part Adam cleaned/ wiped the table twice and Wiped down each Chair and then swept under the table. So if you’re COVID worried…. The Cheers is Clean!
