I was in the area and due to my son’s high recommendation I made a point to stop in and get some to go. What a treat! Super friendly staff (owner), the chicken had a crispy, delicious crust, & all the sides were great (Mac & cheese, greens & sweet potatoes). Chicken was cooked to order and after an hour ride was still warm and crunchy. 100% with the trip.
This place is small gem in the inner city neighborhood that shines bright. ✨️ I wish they delivered. It is definitley worth my 30 min drive into the city to grab a bite here. 6 piece wing w/ fries. Add the hot sauce in ketchup too. This chicken is on point!!!!
Service sucks and they have a minimum charge to use debit. It is totally illegal and against visa/Mastercards merchant agreement

The chicken was well worth the wait!! It was juicy, flavorful, crispy, just like I had cooked it myself at home. I will say I was a little shocked that I got such a good fried chicken up north considering I'm from the south!If I ever go back to Reading Pennsylvania I will definitely go by there again and try other things on the menu.
