Really really was craving a burger and a beer…got my menu, got my beer, it all ended there. I’ve been sitting here 20 minutes and have not yet been asked if I’m ready to order. Or if my drink is good, or anything. I guess if you’re not a regular here they don’t care about you. This is not the first time I’ve felt this way here. If you’re not a regular, I recommend you find somewhere else to go.
What a great experience working with The West End! I planned a 60th birthday for my husband and I wanted somewhere with an outside private space for a couple of hours that could accommodate about 25 people. Maria sat down and went over what I wanted and gave great suggestions, we had appetizers and an open bar with beer, wine and soda. She helped me decide what the cap would be based on the number of people we had and it would out perfectly. They set up the food table and everything came out on time and it was delicious! When the food was finished they cleaned it up and brought out the deserts that I brought with me, along with my birthday cake. They provided 2 waitresses, and kept things moving from the bar. Plenty of tables and a fire pit and we didn't feel rushed to leave. Jeff, the owner, stepped outside to welcome us and check to make sure everything was going ok and Maddy and Maria were such a pleasure to have working our party. We had a blast, my husband and guests really enjoyed themselves! Thank you so much!
I’ll start off by saying The West End has a very fun and lively atmosphere. All of the staff we interacted with while there were very nice and friendly. There was a live band and full production crew, but we left during the sound check before they got all the audio levels set properly.Unfortunately, this is where the good stuff stopped for me. The service was painfully slow. Our waitress was nice, but appeared to have tables scattered all over the place, with us on the opposite end of where most of hers were. Refills only came once requested and there was quite a wait for them still after. The sidewinder fries are good, but everything else I’ve had was disappointing. This was my second time visiting The West End. On my first visit, I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken itself tasted like a frozen, processed, low quality patty. It wasn’t spicy at all either. The roll it came on was good, but that was about it. On today’s visit I has the pretzel sticks for an appetizer and tried the West End Beef Sandwich for my meal. The pretzels tasted like they were frozen, but weren’t too bad considering. The sandwich however was overloaded with cheese on one side and came out on a soggy roll from the au jus spilling on the plate before being served. The cheese overwhelmed the overall taste of the sandwich. The meat itself wasn’t bad, but that was not enough for me, so I returned it for something else. I tried the chicken fingers and fries and although the sidewinder fries are good, the chicken fingers were also frozen. They weren’t decent frozen chicken fingers either, like the patty from the spicy chicken sandwich, they were also clearly processed and low quality. It’s disappointing because it feels like the restaurant has so much untapped potential. I think if they adjust their staffing a bit and maybe use a different food vendor, they could really up their game and do even better.
Our server was awesome. He was very attentive and friendly. I do believe his name was Nolan. We got lucky and they had ACE crab legs for Father's Day and they were cooked to perfection. The soups were amazing too. We had a slight hiccup but the staff made sure to quickly fix the mistake and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I absolutely can't wait to go back. I highly suggest this place. Delicious food, massive selection of beverages and amazing service. If you haven't been, you need to go.
Our second time at the West End for dinner. Both times the food was very good and our server was excellent. We happen to get the same server whose name was Maddie. We found her to be extremely knowledgeable friendly and checked in on it several times to make sure we had everything we could want.Definitely going back again and hopefully will have Maddie again as a server. The burgers were fabulous the Baja tacos off the charts and the truffle fries were surprisingly better than I even thought. I would definitely try this out if you’re debating.
Quite possibly some of the best nachos I've ever had. Service was a tad but slow but can't complain because all of the food was so good. Nice upscale atmosphere and friendly staff. I will definitely be back!
The West End is a great place with awesome staff. We love the cheesesteak egg rolls.
We like coming here for trivial night. Win prizes and I like to get a soda..... with my friends. Cath/Bob Sr/ Mike and Steph
One of my new favorites! Our waitress, Lauren, was friendly, professional and went over and above for us! Place was very upbeat, clean, and food was excellent! Reasonably priced, and good portion sizes. Plenty of parking. Will definitely be returning!
This place is ok Decent food and convenient for us. Try not to sit near the window, very drafty. When we mentioned it to our waitress, she said she was hot, from running around. Nothing special, there's lots of choices for a meal in q-Town.
