Nice restaurant in an old inn. Had the BLT on a half long roll. The bacon was thick and the roll was soft making for a delicious sandwich. Also had french onion soup which was also good. To drink I had one of there own beers, The Sassy Lassie. The service was great and fast. The parking can be a little difficult. I'll be back.$$

I'm sorry to say as a person who grew up in Spinnerstown and have several generations in this area, this is not a place you should care about if you value local business and/or the decent treatment of employees.Employees act like hostages and whisper how they aren't even given the credit/debit tips we all assume are given to our bartender and/or server.I'm ashamed to say I have 4 generations in this area and the history of this location (liberty bell, rebellion, etc) are not important to these owners. The wonderful bartenders & other employees have to whisper to regulars that the company steals their credit/debit tips. The owners are a disgrace to the history of this location and abuse their employees. I experienced a "Karen" who claimed herself as owner myself.I tipped the bartender in cash bc they don't even get your tips if you tip in credit/debit. The owners are a shame to Quakertown and abuse the people they employ.Nothing is worth giving the owners money. They have zero respect for their employees or patrons. If you care about our history, our pride, or basic tipping of employees... avoid like the plague. The owners care nothing for their employees (who are amazing) and run their business opposed to our small town values. Please tip employees in cash. The owners steal the tips and instill fear of poverty in their employees.Support other local business. This business is corrupt and are proud of their anti-pennsylvanian, anti-history practices.Every employee acted like a hostage, bullied by management. It's heartbreaking. It's sad a historical landmark has fallen this far by outsiders. Give your money to local businesses that respect our history.Red Lion/McCoole's is hostile to our lovely history. 0 ⭐ for the management.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the employees who are held hostage, but still provide excellent service.Outsiders don't belong. And the owners are rude, hateful, and don't value the values Red Lion/McCoole's stands for.I will never given them a dime again. I hope others won't, either. Let's get this landmark owned by people who respect our history and treat employees with respect.

Very “Coole” atmosphere!! Super historic, we could even see Lassie’s steak stains in the floor!!! Krystal is the best server and took great care of us!

Delicious dinner tonight and absolutely loved the piano player ... great atmosphere!

The clam chowder was unlike anything I’ve ever had. Simply amazing! The Boursin bacon cheeseburger is one of the best burgers in the area. Everything we had was fantastic! The In. Itself is a destination in itself. We can’t wait to go back!

Went here for dinner last night for my birthday. The food was incredible and came out in sufficient time! We got the clam chowder (pic), nachos, short ribs, and chicken parm. Our waitress was Krystal and she was a delight! She was so friendly and very accommodating when asked to make mock tails and give beer recommendations. We’ve come before and we will certainly return.

So first starters, the hostess was really nice! Our waitress was super chill and sweet! The food was amazing I got a Crab and Shrimp Melt w French fries. It was about $16 and my only discrepancy is, I wish there were more fries! Other than that it was soo delicious and satisfying ? As for the drink, I got Notre...Damn it was a citrus vodka, curosao, and lime juice. The garnish is a dried lemon wedge. That was $12 but good size drink, and perfect amount of alcohol. The atmosphere is historically accurate but with a nice modern dish selection. Very cool place! Definitely recommend!

Very limited menu of very simple entrees, poorly executed and over priced. There’s a sign out front looking for a chef...indeed they should. salmon was prepared beyond terrible and would have been more fitting to put it in a hamburger roll and served with fries instead of being served on a bed of who-knows-what. The meal was off putting. Money not well spent. Very disappoint3d. Brussels sprouts get 5 Stars!

Wonderful and polite staff. Came in with no reservation and the hostess was able to take our party with ease and no headache. Food came out phenomenal and the environment was very cozy. Got the 3 layered fudge cake with a scoop of ice cream on the side and look how cute it is!! Highly recommend.

I just felt the need to express how fabulous the staff is here. I came in for dinner and had not one but four or five of the staff come up and complement my snake skin boots which seems so funny but they were such genuinely nice people and that is so appreciated these days!!! Even the manager came out with a matching snake skin jacket and checked on us!! You guys really made my day and I felt the need to say thank you for such a nice experience!! I will be back often!!
