We’ve had dinner & lunch several times over the last couple months. This has become one of our regular places to eat. Food and service are always very good. Prices are reasonable. Tonight we had meatloaf & chicken pot pie. Also had the chicken corn chowder that came with our meals and it was really good. Didn’t save room for dessert. Some of their ice cream sundaes sound fantastic.
Down home charming atmosphere enhanced by friendly efficient service. Delicious food well prepared with creative breakfast choices. We got of the interstate to try this place and it was a home run.
Clean restaurant & bathrooms, great service, well balanced and prepared food, great ice cream: coffee explosion and malted shake! Delicious! My only regret is I didn't take pictures of the food to post. My Thanksgiving dinner was so good I'm thinking of planning our future Holiday get together there! Actually took the time to brown the thick turkey slices to add flavor. Stuffing & gravy was just like moms too! Winner winner turkey dinner.
Great stop off 309 with plenty of parking and good home cooking. Friendly and quick service. Meals come out quick even when it’s crowded. The meals aren’t always the same every time you order depending on what day you go and who’s cooking. Alway good.
I have read some of the negative reviews and I absolutely disagree with them. I always try to eat somewhere a few times before giving my true opinion and Kathy's County Kitchen has been amazing each time we have been there. My boys and husband who are very particular as to what and where they eat love eating here. My boys always ask if we can go there to eat. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I have come to know a few of them (Emma, Morgan, and several others) they know their customers. The food is great and that's a lot for us since we do have eaters that are particular as to what they eat and we are from the south but this food is a little slice of Southern comfort. We have not yet ordered anything that we haven't loved. They never rush anyone and they take pride in every aspect of their service. If I could give more stars I would, but 5 stars is the most I'm able to give on a review. If you are in town I highly recommend stopping in and giving kathys a try.

Love it! Was not planning on coming here, but so glad I did! Got the eggs Benedict and a farmers feast something. The eggs were good, french toast was great! Would come here again.
Love the atmosphere here! Very cute, large selection and reasonably priced. The owner stopped us leaving and asked how everything was, and made sure we felt appreciated. I love this, rare these days! This was not my first time here, and it will not be my last! Thank you!
Not too big, not too small but just right. Kathy's country kitchen had been around for many years now and it's doing many things right. The quality of the food is great and priced reasonably. The staff is pleasant and makes you feel like you're eating in your own home. The owner is friendly, social and truly cares about her business and the patrons.
Home cooked feel, home cooked taste. Honestly, didn't blow my socks off but that's not what I was looking for either. If you are with a bunch of people that can't decide on where to go for food, this is your place. Everyone is guaranteed to like it (maybe not love it). The atmosphere is very warm, and feels like eating with family.
