We went to Blue Elephant when it first opened and were a little disappointed with the entire experience. Recently we tried it again and there have been some major improvements! Service was outstanding and the food was good. My wife and I split an arugula salad and it was delicious. Her sea bass was good and I enjoyed my sushi platter. We would definitely come back here as it looks like they have worked out the kinks.
We went to celebrate our parents’ anniversary and couldn’t have been more pleased by the service and food. The staff were very friendly, our waitress was attentive and warm, the assistant manager introduced herself and congratulated our parents on their anniversary and even the head chef came out to send his regards to our parents. It has been a long time since our family could all get together and treat ourselves to a nice meal and everyone at The Blue Elephant made the evening all that much more wonderful, smiles and laughs all around. We were so happy to see our parents have such a nice time. Thank you Blue Elephant for making our parents’ special day that much more special!
Located in an old bank building. The safe deposit vault is still intact and visible. The food is absolutely fantastic as is the service. A considerable drive for me but I will return, it's that good!
I have a phenomenal experience every time I go to the blue elephant. The chefs are incredibly talented and really take pride in their craft. The menu often has season new additions which are always wonderful!
Loved this place. Will totally come back. It's got a bougie feel, big airy dining room. Food was great and so was the company. Had the poke bowl with upgraded tuna. Highly recommend.
They do asain food extremely well! Great use and balance of flavors in their dishes. Nice selection of beers, wines and cocktails. We were hoping to get a bottle of sake, but didn't feel they have a moderately priced one. As a whole, this place is a little pricey. Our service was a bit slow, but friendly. There's a large main area when you first walk in and some additional seating upstairs. We were able to sit right away upon arrival. Parking lot was full and some spots didn't look to be for the resturant, so we parked on the street with no problems. Overall would reccomend.
I am so happy we heard about this restaurant and tried it! The decor was so beautiful in a restored bank building. The colors were so appealing. The good was delicious! We had the Kobe beef on the hot stone, literally dreaming about that! It was so good! Rock Shrimp poke bowl and 2 sushi rolls. Our server Tara was lovely and explained everything. The drinks were so yummy as well. I can't wait to go back and try more items because everything sounded and looked great! In these times it appeared they were fully staffed which says a lot about the owner that must take care of his/her staff. Wonderful gem in Pottstown!
the restaurant has quite a relaxing but elegant atmosphere. The menu is diverse and doesn't disappoint.
We needed a restaurant between Reading and Conshohocken PA - Decided on the Blue Elephant - we are not sushi fans - but they had Pad Thai on the menu so it was a go! What a wonderful surprise !! Huge, classy open, spacious dining - beautifully decorated - used to be a bank - the hostess was so kind - the menu has a nice variety of dishes and sushi - We shared three apps - edemame, zuccini fritters, and dumplings - dinner - a salmon poke bowl, caesar salad with chicen, and stir fried Rice with Rock shrimp - generous portions, fresh, and perfectly prepared food. The cocktails were also creative and delicious! We will be back - this place is fantastic!
We visited your restaurant on Wednesday and waited for 20 minutes past the time they told us it would be ready! The staff was super friendly and was very apologetic. She checked back multiple times and apologized for the delay.We finally got our order and the food was certainly good however (My desert was less than impressive!) The picture of the Creme brûlée looked amazing , that’s not what I got . For $9.00! I am paying the same price for take out but get a totally substandard product! Totally disappointed! Will not return!
