Hubby just brought home cheesteaks from here and WOW is All I can say! This was the best Buffalo cheesteak I've ever had. The spice was just right and the flavors just all went together well. He had a regular cheesesteak and that was awesome as well. The bread is very soft, the right amount of cheese and the meat wasn't fatty. You got a new customer in us!
Almost gave 4 stars just because the cheese was melted on top instead of in the steak meat. Shame on me.. Picky me. The cheesesteak was good. Gave 5 stars because the sharp Italian was scrumptious ? on more than one occassion. They seem to stay consistent with their food. The staff (prob owners) were over the top awesome. I want something from there atleast once a week??♀️
Tried this place for the first time on doordashWow, finally the real Italian hoagie I've been searching for! The Buffalo chicken bites (hot sauce) were on point, as well as the Ribeye sandwich and bacon Cheddar tots. This place definitely deserves the 5 star rating! Will be a frequent customer for sure!
great hoagies/subs ... great staff ... just an all around great place, haven't had a bad bite yet and doubt I ever will! You must go and try this place for yourself...

I'm originally from Philadelphia. I've had cheesesteaks and chicken cheese steaks from almost everywhere... By far the best buffalo chicken cheesesteak I've ever had.

Not a local, but stopped by while in Pottstown due to the great Google reviews. Pizza steak was great, with a Conshy roll, and the hospitality of this small shop was special.Pleas support the small “mom and pop” food places; you’ll be happy you did. Patronize “High Street Steaks”!
I had been looking for a good quality cheesesteak in Pottstown for a couple of years. I’ve tried a numerous amount of places but nothing come close to High Street Steaks. I will be a customer for long term. Thank you Jim and Suz for bringing Philadelphia to town.
