I was hoping for high-end Asian dining, but this was just a little better than typical takeout and probably lower quality than P.F. Changs. If the pricing was in line with typical take-out it would be four and a half stars, but the high price point drags it back down to 3 for overall value and experience.
Great food! Most Asian restaurants around serve your basic Americanized dishes. You have a much bigger selection here and the quality is top notch
Definitely pretty basic Chinese food. the wontons were disappointing since they said they had to crab it and there wasn’t any. large portions and the duck soup was good
Never a bad meal at Ya Fei. We love getting take out from here, the online ordering makes it easy, but dine in is fabulous as well. I always end up getting sushi in addition to one of their entrees, the garlic beef and Singapore street noodles are two of my favorites, but I haven't worked my way through the entire menu.... yet.
Went there for the first time and ordered take out the employees there were very nice and friendly once getting back to start eating food almost half way done saw a stink bug! In the general so chicken instantly turned off the food quality to begin with wasn’t so great for how expensive it is I got 4 food items and it was 80$ I got the takeout close to 10pm tried to call back didn’t have luck reaching anyone so waited till morning. The girl who answered claimed she was the manger which I don’t believe she was had me on hold for 13min to return on the phone stating I wasn’t getting refunded but partial because I would have had brought all the food back like they expected me to just save it don’t waste your time or money going here it was with out a doubt the worst Chinese food in Pittsburgh regardless of the bug found crab Rangoon’s were Soggy the sushi sloppy and the rice was more pudding then rice but usually when Chinese restaurants are in a plaza like that you can expect it not being good whatsoever.
Some of the best Chinese food I have had in awhile. I like the addition of the greens to the stir fry. Very partial to the Hunan chicken, extra spicy. Besides salad that comes with lunch is also very good. Better than a typical iceberg lettuce salad.
Had Ginger Chicken. Didn't come with broccoli I had to pay an extra $2 for the broccoli, OK. So I asked for the already (supposedly) spicy/hot dish to be made extra extra extra ?. Which it states on my receipt. THE FOOD HAD NO OR VERY MILD SEASONING TASTE AND NOT SPICY NOR HOT WHATSOEVER!!! AND IT WAS DROWNING IN SAUCE LIKE A SOUPS ?. I was highly dissatisfied! However the cup of coffee was good
Our party of 2 was seated. When the waiter arrived, after about 10 minutes, he was not friendly & he rushed us to order. We waited 20 additional minutes & our food nor drinks never arrived. We left! This place needs a deep cleaning.
This is delicious Chinese food. So many options. Service is also very good. Lots of gluten free items on the menu too. I was even able to get other items made gluten free because they have gluten free soy sauce in house.
Just finished a full meal pick up on New Year’s eve. Food was to die for. Best fried rice i’ve eaten in years. order was on time and filled perfectly. Nothing we ordered was not delicious. Thank you to your chef and staff
