Did a Google search for catfish near me. This place popped up. And so did a few others but this was closer to me. At first I was confused about where they were until I seen a fold up sign outside of what appeared to be a apartment building? I did a order via phone and picked it up. Nice gentleman on the phone. Went in a both him and his wife were so much fun to talk to. The gentleman explained how they cooked the catfish. Got home and took one bite. Best catfish I have had and way better than I can cook! Looking forward to to going back and seeing them again!

Called ahead to order. Had no idea of what the food would be like , but went on recommendation of a shuttle driver at the hotel I was staying at.First walking in, I could smell the chicken from the outside. Walking in the door, it was a little dark and gloomy. I could not smell any chicken from the inside. No one came out to greet, but no problem I had my phone handy. Called the same number I ordered from, and they said it would be ready shortly.10 minutes later, food was done.Ordered 3 , three piece fried chicken dinners with a whole slab or ribs and 3 orders of cornbread.Kept wanting to peek at it on way back to hotel, but held off.First glance at food, I said oh this is going to be good.And y’all did not disappoint. The chicken was fried and seasoned perfectly, the greens had that bite of vinegar. The ribs were melt in your mouth tender, with a perfect sauce. The mac & cheese wasn’t terrible but could have been better and the cornbread was good but just a little dry.Thank you for a nice home cooked meal with love

Excellent Excellent Excellent. We had Whiting fish. Seasoned and Fried to perfection. The cabbage is superb! We are looking forward to trying the Pork Chops!
This food is def fire and the owner is always so nice. I love the idea of a restaurant in a church. It’s genius and def will always come back here
Do Not Order Delivery! For a wing & rib meal that's $17.95 on their menu it was $23.95 through Seamless + tip, tax & delivery fee. When I called to ask why the price difference they advised it was because they had to pay these services i.e. Doordash, UberEats, Grubhub etc so they mark up their prices on those menu's. So the customer will also pay tax, tip and delivery on top of their $6 mark up! Why should the customers pay for their charge of doing business with these services as well as their own delivery fees, tip and tax?? Complete rip off!
Very good wings, pork chops and string beans. That's the only thing I can speak on for thats the only thing I have tasted. And that's because my husband ordered the porkchop dinner the last time. But I can't stop having the wings, which is my go to, there so Goodwood. The folks are so friendly as well. And who can't use a prayer that comes along in the bag with ur food. Amen!

Catfish wasn't fry or cooked properly, Call it Collard greens, bitter to sweet, potatoes salad too sweet to much Mayonnaise, Mac cheese not enough cheese eggs not cooked properly greasy, very disgusting my husband bought the food home he was disappointed also.
