Was the best omelet I've ever had! The vegetarian delight has roasted tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, feta cheese, red onions, tarragon, and a spicy mayo sauce. It comes with a choice if greens, waffle potato chips, or a combo of 3 types of potatoes. The flavors complemented each other, exploding in my mouth! My husband got the BLT on Texas toast. The top has "ranch dust" toasted into the bread. 6 pieces of bacon, with tomatoes and a tangy mayo, add an egg of your choice. My husband got the homemade potato chips. He loved it. Each plate seemed to be a chef's creation, beautifully presented. Another reviewer mentioned bad service. Maybe they have more staff now, because there were a lot of workers. Mya was our server and you could see she really got joy from dealing with people, and doing this job. We love Cherrys Diner but they were closed, glad they were to find a new spot! We come once a year to see my son. We are thrilled to find a unique, quality place. A MUST visit!
The service was very questionable. It took awhile to even get a seat (at least half an hour) and then once we sat down it was an hour after ordering to get our food. I’m pretty sure they just forgot about us since waffles shouldn’t take that long to make…. But once the food was there, the waffle sampling platter, with four different types of waffles, both salty and sweet, was absolutely to die for! Amazing!
My girlfriend and I visited twice on a recent weekend trip to the Burgh. This really is a fantastic little breakfast spot. I had the Mega Berry twice and it was delicious.The restaurant was very clean, the staff is very friendly, and even when they were busy they were able to provide excellent service.I cant wait to return!
Went on a sat morning (around10am), & it was quite busy but the wait wasn’t too bad (about 25min). I had the BLT with a side of breakfast potatoes & my wife had the megaberry waffles & bacon. The wait was definitely worth it. Food was very good. You should add this place on your next visit to Pittsburgh
Great place for breakfast. Super busy, but our server -Zack- did an exceptional job taking care of us.Eggs Benny came with teal crab meat - so good!Great food, good coffee. Highly recommend.
Incredible fluffy waffles (and syrup!)Planned our Pittsburgh brunch here for the sole fact that they make gluten free waffles…and after a decent wait, hubs admitted they were worth it. “Best waffles I’ve had in my entire life” ?Pro tip: join online waitlist, ask for all 3 syrups for the table. Bourbon maple was fairly strong but the vanilla bean was delicious.
Enjoyed a fast paced brunch!I was given my bill immediately after i was served my food. Also was asked if im done with the bill immediately after finishing said meal. I wasnt happy with that, i wanted to sit and finish enjoying my cappuccino but had to down it in one big gulp.I had the eggs Benedict on waffles with a seafood garnish. I enjoyed it very much. Although the portion was small.Total cost: was ~$30 tip included (for one)Would also highly recommend a reservation or expect to wait about 30mins on a weekend morning.Conclusion: great food and beverages but i felt i was being rushed and for that reason i gave 3/5 stars. Food was 5/5. Price 3/5. Service 2/5
So happy we went here! The food was delicious and they give you a lot of it! I ordered a regular latte which had a brown sugar topping which was a nice surprise. I also ordered the BC breakfast but substituted the toast for 1/2 waffles since I had to try them but didn’t want the sugar overkill. I also don’t eat eggs so they were great at letting me substitute for that too. This is definitely a great place to go for breakfast!
This food was amazing! I must say by far the best bananas foster waffle I’ve ever eaten! Staff was outstanding! If you’re ever near here please try them!
Great walking distance from our hotel so prefect. I got the banana foster waffle... that was really good I needed extra foster sauce though. Join the waitlist online for less of a wait otherwise 45 minute wait is what you'll be doing. Our waitress seemed bothered by us which caused the 5th star. She needs to smile more or fake it until she makes it.... anything but seeming annoyed. Vanilla late tasted delicious!! Definitely worth a visit!
