Let us begin with a solemn salute to the legend that was The 'O' and on who's plot of ground now stands Viva Los Tacos.... *Taps gently plays on a bugle in the background*Now that that's over, let's celebrate its replacement! We got the quesobirra tacos and when they arrived I was shocked, shocked I say! These things are huge! I thought I was gonna get the same little street tacos everyone else has but for way more money. I was so wrong. Big, meaty, crunchy, juicy, CHEESY. If you're expecting tacos traditiônál, don't come here cause we all know traditional tacos don't have cheese besides the enormity. I will add about the quesobirras, that while tasty with the consumme dipping sauce, that tender pulled beef had a seasoning that did strongly remind me of one of those boxed taco mixes. Old El Passo, or something. Not what I was expecting. Maybe I'm too picky. I hope it's an original spice blend and not a prepackaged one or else I'm gonna... (quakes with rage) I don't know what I'll do, but something. We both got a frozen margaritas because of course. I got the lemon lime and it tasted a bit bitter, so I asked for an extra lil hit of the blue simple syrup and that made it pretty good.Overall a good experience. A couple things stood out that were below expectations. The county at the bar was kinda dirty, the menus were sticky all over, and while it may be a new restaurant all together, The 'O' is reaching up out of the grave to wrap its greasy hot dog hands around the bathrooms, and I'm afraid we need an exorcism.
Food had absolutely no flavor. Visually looked great and tasted like nothing. It’s almost as they took natural flavor out.
Not bad overall. The bone in the chicken taco was a little surprise but shows they prob shred their own chicken I guess. They seem newer and probably would give it a few months and try again see if they got through some growing pains. Queso not bad, chips were stale.
I only took a video of my birria tacos, let me tell you, these are the best I’ve ever had thus far!! Please check them out, the size of those tacos are huge, I could only eat 1.5 out of the 3, the sauce is absolutely flavorful…I put the rest in the air fryer to reheat them on day 2 n swear was just like they gave them to me!! Go go go!! The margaritas aren’t bad either for $4, can’t beat that!! The bartender was cool as well!!
I have been here twice and had good food , beer, and service. There is a decent Mexican lager on draft that I can't remember the name of, but it's light and washes down street tacos well. I haven't had a margarita here but the happy hour seems legit. There is also a lunch special. I will be back.
I had this steak fajitas bowl. AMAZING!!!!!! And the service is impeccable. Lexi is great. Very attentive. This is my new favorite place. Thanks guys.
Viva los Tacos! It's a place you need to go! Delicious dipping salsas, wonderful menu and a very comfortable place to hang up with friends...the only thing I can complain about is the tonic water and the Sprite taste awful...rather then that, perfect!! Very good staff service too and affordable prices!
Tried this place with some friends. It has such a cute aesthetic to it! Got our drinks & appetizer and they were both good. Saw on the Happy Hour menu that they had something called “Gringo Tacos” and I really wanted them but could not find them on the menu (If you see this, please add them to the menu ?) My server, who was very kind & patient with us, suggested the Quesabirrias but subbed some stuff. They were shockingly spicy haha! I didn’t get to eat all three because of the spice level but I think they were still good. The drinks were the reason for my higher bill which makes sense. Overall a very cute place, music was a bit loud but good atmosphere! We went on a Monday ?✨
The single star is for the salsa and the strawberry margarita! Everything else had 0 flavor ? It was actually shocking how bland the food was given that Mexican food is known for it’s bold flavors! I would get another drink but would never ever order food here again. shocked and appalled!!!
Awesome! Just tried for the first time for lunch and we loved it! Setting is super cute! Great location! We loved the food! Can’t wait to go back! Especially in the summer with outdoor seating and those garage doors open! Server was absolutely fabulous! Super excited for an awesome fun new place! We loved the queso and guac! The chicken nachos were amazing! We were too full to even try our tacos and bowl so can’t wait to have those for dinner with the churros!! Huge portions! Great value! Yum!!
