Had a divine experience at Uzima! Mayan and Shea are beautiful souls! Tony made an amazing juice. I had Heal and added turmeric, it was sooo sweet and yummy! The vibes and conversation were unmatched. It was like connecting with family. Will visit anytime I’m back in PA. If you’re reading this review-go treat yourself with a wholesome pick me up! They also have fresh produce for sale.
Great smoothies! I got the "Live" smoothie, it was delicious and almost large enough to qualify as a meal, with a good balance in flavor between fruity and creamy. The owner was friendly and immediately offered us to taste different popular flavors. The decor is bright and pretty, with uplifting quotes about mental health.
The owner is just wonderful and the place itself is very nicely decorated, good vibes. Free samples and easy customization are a nice bonus. The smoothies themselves are good. They're thick and you can tell they are packed with ingredients. A little pricey at 8$. Flavor has some room for improvement but still solid.
Uzima has one of the best breakfast bowls I have had! Its so wholesome. I love the family owned vibes! They literally treat all of their customers with so much love. I also wanted to highlight their brand’s focus on mental health awareness. Words can only explain so much lol!! :) I recommend getting a breakfast bowl and a smoothie while you are there.
My daughter and I got a Grace smoothie and an açaí bowl…both were delicious! The shop has great ambience and a wonderful mission of increasing awareness about mental health. Shea, the owner, was so genuine and friendly. We’ll be back!
Uzima is a little haven in the middle of bustling Pittsburgh. I had the LIVE smoothie and it was out of this world! Got to meet the owner Mayan who has a huge heart for the city and the students. I’m so excited I stumbled upon this place. Will be a regular visitor :)
It was my very first time going. I learned a lot and the owner absolutely courteous, friendly, shared her story. I would definitely go back there to learn more. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is in Oakland.
Wonderfully peaceful atmosphere somehow slid gently between Fifth and Forbes. A nice quiet place for a big bowl, or a chance to take a deep breath before taking a smoothie to go.

Great drinks, and I was able to use pecans instead of the other nuts. I came back again because the first time hit the spot as did the second visit. I was satified. Great customer service.
