While waiting for my food today the young girl behind the counter cooking the fries decided to would be sanitary to est her Wendy's while cooking customers food. I saw this and asked for the manager. The other young girl said I'm the manager and I said I highly doubt it! How could you allow your employee to eat food while cooking customers food out in the open?!?! She shrugged it off! Completely unprofessional!

Italian sub was pretty good but I was disappointed with the size compared to other shops in the area.
I used to really like this place. Has been a while so went for a quick dinner. Not very clean. While the sub was good, the fries…they were hollow…like no potato actually in this starchy shell of a French fry shape. very strange!
I asked for extra Mayo .. is this a joke? It was edible when I scraped 3/4ths of it off. I don’t get how you could serve this?
I have heard a few people rave about Uncle Sam’s. I stopped in to order a few nights ago and wasn’t impressed. The staff wasn’t very welcoming or friendly. Kind of seemed like they didn’t really want to be there and expected me to know how to order. I even mentioned I had never been there before. As I was getting my debit card out to pay I saw a tiny sign off to the side that said “cash only.” I never carry cash and for somewhere that only accepts cash, you’d think they’d have an ATM but instead you have to walk to Giant Eagle to use their ATM. They did offer to start my order while I walked to get cash which I guess is helpful. The steak was seriously lacking flavor. I don’t think they use any type of seasonings. When we got home with our subs I had to add A1 steak sauce because all it tasted like was onions and bread. We will not eat here again.
Honestly, if you like it bland and don't mind canned mushrooms (an absolute no for me), then I guess this is the place for you. Tavern in the Wall down the road makes a way better one. Place is cash only. Phone is always on busy signal, email address appears to be non-existent. Two stars because the price isn't too bad, but reflective of the quality for sure. The fries are, however, outstanding.

My wife and I were really impressed with the quality of the food here. The bread was soft and fresh, even at 745pm. I know a good cheesesteak, this was as close to perfect as it gets outside of Philadelphia.
