This place used to be our go-to for chicken cheese steak subs, but we've stopped going because their hours have become so erratic and the customer service has gone downhill.
Too bad the Oakland location closed. That location was great. The food in squirrel hill is good, but the service is lacking. 3 employees, no seating, and almost no quality engagement.
The quality of the food is immaterial when they can’t be bothered to stay open for the hours they have posted on their signage. The past two days have seen signs in the window that they were closing early, despite my having called to make sure they were open. Save yourself frustration and go elsewhere when in Squirrel Hill.
First off, I really love the food here. They changed the fries and the new ones are not as good. The old ones were the best fries you could get anywhere. This place has a management problem. All of the employees are rude. The manager is the worst one. I would eat here a lot more often if it wasn’t for the staff. The last time I was given the wrong sandwich I was afraid to even say anything. I often want to eat here and find myself changing my mind because I can’t stand the way the manager glares at me.
I would like someone that manages the Squirrel Hill location to respond to this with their contact information. What I saw and heard going on in the line is absolutely unacceptable. I’d like the opportunity to talk with upper management before I put this place on blast over what I heard and witnessed. I’ve been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and because of one person it’s going down hill. I’m not a person to complain, but what has happened on several occasions I was there is not ok. If I don’t hear from upper management (as I know the people running the restaurant will cover for each other) I’m going to publish everything I’ve heard and seen. Needless to say they are less than legitimate restaurant practices. Please get in touch with me.
Passing through on my way to ohio. Delicious Subs. Had the cheesesteak and the cheeseburger subs. Both were amazing.

My mother and I were standing around for 5 minutes and no one said hello or “how may I help you.” The service was so poor, an entire family in back of us walked out. The workers do not have manners and could not even muster up a simple “thank you” or “have a nice day” on our way out. We will not be returning.
