I went here on a Thursday and it was so chill. So nice sitting outside having a couple drinks, so good we came back Friday. Great music and great customer service. Definitely a good atmosphere between the music and people. The food is just as good too. I got wings they’re probably the best wings I’ve ever had!
This place is a scam, they charged us 30% more than the menu prices for our food, then claimed it was an error with the online menu that they'd fix but refused to adjust the bill. Two weeks later their menu still has the same prices listed
Probably not a fair assessment of an establishment as a bar - since we chose a Monday night and didn't even drink..... BUTWhen we walked in here looking for some American food (which is getting harder and harder to find in squirrel hill) and we ended up having a private dining experience in here. The girl from the bar (Barb - shoutout to her!) was very nice and pleasant and our food came out hot and fairly quickly. I had the boneless wings to curb a Buffalo craving and they are attached here in a photo with some Buffalo seasoned fries. We also started with some onion rings and pretzel sticks which were perfectly crisp and delicious as you expect your bar food to be.
The older lady who runs this place is always rude and just has a constantly poor attitude. Not even worth trying to be nice to her.
Great neighborhood bar. Has pool a pool table and karaoke ?.
Barb is the greatest. Always a fun night. Great people. Regular crowd mixed with new comers.
I had Dee as my bartender. She was absolutely magnificent and kind. Perfect at her job and I would recommend this place to anybody. True pittsburgh culture. Thank you, Dee.
Great wings . . Dj PHot cutting it up . . Good time!!
I want to offer a disclaimer before this review: the Warehouse was obviously extremely short-staffed due to Covid, though when I placed my order by phone for carry-out I did not realize that it was a bad as missing the restaurant's cook. That being said, for the price we paid, the quality was unacceptable -- the Warehouse needs to either change its pricing or stop serving food until it can find a cook. I know that's easier said than done, so this review is mostly a warning to others until they can resolve their staffing.TL:DR, $50 for a two-person meal of this quality makes this probably the worst value-for-money we've paid living 10 years in Pittsburgh. We ordered a burger, chicken wings, and loaded fries. I asked for the fries to be waffle-cut, but they were "fresh cut" -- I use quotes because the fries were soggy and wilted, and while they may have been fried recently I cannot believe that the potatoes were anywhere near fresh. In addition to the bad fries, the toppings were of very poor quality, and we did not eat more than a first bite each of the loaded fries (we each had one of the side fries that came with the burger and came to the same verdict). The burger itself was not bad, but it wasn't particularly better than a McDonald's burger, for about four times the price. The chicken wings had a good amount of meat, but they were dry and fairly tasteless -- they were redeemed mostly by the honey mustard sauce. Again, not awful, but massively over-priced for the quality, especially compared to restaurants in a 3-block radius around Squirrel Hill. This is the first time in a long while that I've been actively disappointed by a meal,. Judging from other reviews, not everyone has had this experience, and I hope the Warehouse can improve, but I don't think I will take that chance any time soon.
Enjoyable locally owned pub, greats wings! Music, pool table. A great spot I frequent after work.
