Great place with good service and incredible food. The Avgolemono soup is amazing. I highly recommend this place
What a lineup of foods to choose from. The plates are heavy they give great portions and the seating outside is perfect they have shade spots as well just in case but it’s in a prime location and very authentic food. The dolmas were my favorite they really filled themUp!
Great, healthy food and very gluten-free friendly. Staff are also very knowledgeable about allergens. I especially like the fenced-in space to sit outside the restaurant. A bit on the expensive side, but still highly recommend!
This place is a little hidden gem! I find myself here at least once a week. Customer service is always top tier and that outdoor seating is beautiful! Love love the food.
What I found here was good food and a friendly atmosphere! On arrival right at the door was a line, standing for about 15 minutes. By the time the lunch rush was over and I had my food in hand, it seemed like we were the only people there.
The food was really good. The service was typical college-aged kids. My biggest complaint is they planted an automatic air freshener (as you would find in a restroom) head-level and pointed at a table. My girlfriend and I were halfway through our meal when we were bombed by a puff of chemical freshener covering us and our dinner. I’d have mentioned it, but again: college kids. We left.
I know Greek food and this is not it. Service was slightly rushed, gyro meat was dry and the taste was ultimately very disappointing. I would pass on by if visiting the square.
I placed my order online and got a phone call shortly after apologizing that they were out of steak for my order and what protein I'd like in place of it. The gentleman was super apologetic and when I picked up my order he gave me a free desert. Food is always good but the unexpected exceptional service was a nice touch!
What a wonderful lunch experience at this charming family owned authentic Greek restaurant overlooking Market Square. It will take multiple visits to try all the must have treats but we gave it our best shot today. The concept is simple - choose a bowl or a pita, select your protein and add toppings and sauces of your choice. Our party tried two different chickens and traditional gyro meat. Other choices included steak and falafel. The meats were tender, plentiful and tasty. Some of the surprising toppings were spicy grilled broccoli (highly recommend), a garden salad of crispy marinated veggies, and garlic green beans. We tried two sides - French fries Greek style which included feta cheese (delicious, plenty to share) and the spanakopita. Spanakopita is my usual go to Greek entree and I have never had better. It is grilled and the spinach cheese filling is hot, soft and creamy. The shell is a perfect consistency of flakey inside and grilled crunch outside. We also split a piece of baklava between 3 of us. That gave us each a nice serving of dessert with just enough honey. It’s safe to say we will be returning to The Simple Greek before long!
Custom gyro very good for lunch
