Overall bad experience, and would not return. We elected to go here because the Denny's at the bottom of the hill had boarded up windows. We should have went there. There was a wait and I was understanding of this. The host would not let me look over a menu while I waited. We were taken to the table and waited a while before a disgruntled lady approached the table and got our order. She seemed upset that the table ordered both coffee and a juice of some sort. When asked about clarifying things, the server appeared to be in a rush and bothered by our just being there. The order was wrong, and the food came out cold. We were too hungry to complain and just managed to eat it anyhow. The fountain drinks tasted like bleach. We were traveling and thought it may just be the water, although the coffee didn't have this taste to it. The coffee was cold. Had to ask for refills. Had to ask several times for syrup for the pancakes and French toast. After we got our food, we were told that the credit card machine was down and we would have to pay with cash. This wasn't an issue because I had cash to cover the table, but there were several people that only had a card. Perhaps this was temporary but they cold have put up a sign or told us when we were seated.Even though the food was cold, it just had al all around bad taste.I would not venture up the hill to this place again.
The food is top notch and everything I've ever had has been beyond awesome. The only reason for 1 less star is the wait time to get the table and then the food to come. Getting the table wait I understand but the food taking 45 mins is crazy. I'd suggest taking the order while people wait to save time for everyone.
Better than I expected from the menu. Food came out very quickly and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend getting the “junior breakfast.” I am a big eater and I barely finished mine. Great portions. Definitely will return.
place is nice, staff is friendly.Food quality isn't what I expected; it's adequate, but I wouldn't try it again. I ordered a Nutella crepe, and it tasted like flour, and the dough was undercooked.
The best orange juice on the planet. Fresh squeezed w/lots of pulp! Their pancakes are to die for. Especially the Banana & Strawberry versions. You’ve got to try there thicker bacon. It is phenomenal!Service is of the highest quality.
The waitress was awesome, the food was pretty good, but chairs being scrubbed on floor ruined the entire experience for me. It is bad enough that customers scrub their chairs every so often, but it was the bus staff that really did it in for me.
I really want to give this place more ⭐️ but I can’t based on my experience. The food is good and there’s a big variety of choices. I mean there are a million pancake options (all tasty) and 4 ? omelettes, who can argue with that?! I really enjoy their food. The place is always crowded and it reminds me of a beach place that is built for crowds.I feel as if the staff are missing something… they aren’t outgoing friendly and welcoming. Even before Covid they were like this. They are efficient and don’t make mistakes but don’t usually greet you with and make you feel welcome. It’s almost as if they don’t enjoy their job. I don’t know. Now does this mean I won’t eat there or I’ve had a horrible consistent experience - no. Like I said the good is great, I just wish for a different experience.
Very good variety of pancakes and the omelet I had was top notch, made with a great cheddar cheese that had a nice aged flavor. The employees were very nice, the service was great, and the restaurant is very roomie with plenty of space and a neat look. I can't wait to return and try something else on the menu!
A cozy place with homemade everything. Quick and nice service with great pancakes. We will be coming back soon.
Yes very much so. Everything is always fresh serves and all employees and owner are very welcome.
