First time at The original Pancake house and had a fantastic experience. The service from Isabella was amazing . She was very attentive to our needs. The best breakfast in Pittsburgh. Can’t wait to go back. The property is beautiful and the entire staff made us feel welcome. The owner came out to greet us and thank us for coming. A true gem in Pittsburgh.
My husband drove there to make a carry out order, they told him they were not taking carry out orders, only seating people "They're too busy." My husband said it wasn't overly busy, normal busy and it simply made no sense to not be able to cook a carry out order but cook a seated order. Great way to lose business!

My wife and I have been coming here for years. The food is outstanding and the options are so fun!!My favorite dish is the Irish Benedict and my favorite pancakes are the bacon pancakes. They are so good, I don't even use syrup.The Original Pancake House is a national chain, but both locations in the Pittsburgh area are locally franchised with their own menu.I recommend getting here early if visiting on a weekend unless you want to wait a long time for a table.

Great food, and as most things in life, you get what you pay for. I disagree with the upcharge for flavored syrup, but otherwise, Chuck & Nelly the owners are truly on to bigger things in the future. Keep up the great work you two.
Always best pancakes. I used to live in MN and we’ve been to pancake house there and fell in love. Would highly recommend more gluten free options

My mom and I had a lovely brunch today with the very sweet Abby taking care of us. She was so very attentive, we could not have asked for better service. Oh and the food was spot on yummy. We only go about once a year since we live many states apart so it’s special for us. My mom always gets the cherry blintzes and I get the eggs Benedict. Yum yum yum! Someone give Abby a raise. She’s the best!
