This place is awesome. Reminds me of an old time ice cream parlor. The shakes are amazing, as is the service.

The service was amazing and fast with the shop being busy. I ordered the bananas foster sundae and my husband had the dairy free cookies and cream. For dairy free his was fantastic and mine was too.

Really nice place. Milkshakes are great. Little pricy for how much you get, but the flavors definitely make up for it. Strawberry chocolate was a good blend of flavors. They have other chocolates and treats too, but wasn't able to try them.

Great thick shakes with fun flavors that is very satisfying and solves that need for a sweat treat.

Stopped in for an after Dinner Shake, and it was well worth it. The place is popular and it's easy to see why. The shakes and sundae's are so flavorful. It's hard to decide which one to get.

Yummy! Loved it! Thick rich milkshake.

Just wow. Now THATS a milkshake, and no calories were spared in its creation. The venue visually grabs you from the street and the sweet aroma pushes you inside. Not that we needed much coaxing being chocolate/ice cream/dessert people. Staff were polite and plentiful, keeping the longish waiting line in constant forward motion. When you get to the front, there is a whole display cabinet of chocolate confections for purchase just waiting to tempt you along side which ever ice cream treat you choose. The frosty selections/options are finite in number although varied enough to satisfy most, and we didn’t stray from script so we don’t know if they allow for variations. I had the cookies n’cream milkshake which was over the top delicious. A majority of it made it up the straw, while the last cookie-laden bits needed a spoon to retrieve. My daughter dove into the birthday cake milkshake which kept her blissfully quiet for a prolonged period of time. As dedicated to dessert as we both are, neither of us could finish our treats but the “sugar buzz” kept us going for hours. The joint had a very clean dining area for patrons kept jumping by the music and the happy. Of course, we purchased a few chocolate selections to take with— the s’mores was delicious!!!!

We visited the downtown location (by Market Square) after dining nearby. So glad we saved room for dessert. We were on a spring break vacation, so happily grabbed some chocolates (from the same company) to take home as well.

We got the dairy free strawberry shake and it was so good!! I couldn’t believe how good it was. My husband is lactose intolerant so this was a nice treat. Definitely a nice little spot if you have kids!

We were visiting Pittsburgh for a Penguins game and we’re very excited that at the Milkshake Factory they have a menu item named after one of the players, Jake Guentzel! Our “Jake’s Shakes” were delicious. The ambiance here is really fun too. The part that is confusing is that the straws, spoons, and napkins are by the exit door (which might not be in your line of sight if the place is crowded), not near the counter where you pick up your milkshake. It took me a minute to figure this out and we also saw some other confused customers wandering around looking for straws too.
