This place is really cool, such a cool concept turning a church into a brewery! Our greeter was so sweet and when we were sat at our table waiting for our friends, we had a server, Taylor who was so happy to tell us about the menu and if he could get us anything while we waited for our friends to join us. Keep in mind I to work in a brewery in Canada. So when I get limited time during my short visits when I come to Pittsburgh to visit my fiancé and family/friends I get so excited to check out new places.Alicia took over our table, and when she asked if she could get us anything I politely told her Taylor had already come by. She right away said “oh we got tables mixed up.” She was nowhere near as friendly and bubbly as Taylor so we were a little bummed. I ordered a raspberry mojito and when she brought it out it looked like a regular one and when I asked if it was flavored she dismissed me right away and said “yes.” If there are no raspberries being added or some sort of red color it’s safe to assume anyone would have made the same assumption as me…. Everyone at the table agreed she could have simply told me yes it’s simply the rum that is flavored. Our meals were pretty good including the appetizers.. but god forbid we ordered more drinks. This server just does not like tables who don’t eat and immediately leave after. I mean hey? That’s how I make my tips! Enjoy the beer/drinks, your time and let me know if there is anything I can do! This girl does NOT feel the same way! Everytime we ordered a round it’s like we annoyed her. She was so sour! We were brought full glasses and she kept lurking and said “can I get you anything?” After given FULL glasses!? Transfer your damn table if you wanna go home! To the point we just didn’t order anymore cause we felt rushed! We wished we would have had Taylor from the get go. She immediately brought our bills after we said nothing else although we could have easily kept buying more drinks. We paid and stayed… drinking our waters. She never asked how our food was, if she could refill our waters throughout the night, just to get our money and go at the end.Really cool place, but she gave us such a terrible feeling that if we decide to give this place another try, cause it really was awesome, we will request a different server.

We went here for evening drinks and appetizers. Aside from the unique and amazing aesthetics of a church turned brewery, the tap beer offerings and appetizers were very good. Reasonably priced, adequate amount of tap beers with additional cocktail options for non-beer drinkers. The spinach feta gorgonzola dip and crispy brussel sprouts with blueberry balsamic and goat cheese were fantastic. Also have option to take home 6 packs of their various brews. One of those one of a kind places that is definitely worth a visit.

Obviously the interior of the restaurant can't be beat. Magnificent old church with pews for booth seats, original lights, stained glass, ceiling detail. The staff was friendly, our waitress very good. Beer was good as was the food. In house pastry chef for dessert. We had lunch. Everything was good.

The ambiance is certainly one of the things that people talk about. But, my family thought the food was very good, as well. I loved the chicken jambalaya and one of my sons thought that the German Mac n Cheese was very tasty. The barbecue ribs were also very good. For dessert we split bacon ice cream sandwiches (bacon actually goes very well with anything, even ice cream!). Service was good and attentive.--It was a good night out.

Really cool atmosphere and great beer, food and service. The French onion soup and beet salad was delicious. They also have great merch.

My wife took me here she said that it was a great place and I was in for a treat. And she was absolutely right the only thing that was weird and funny is we went on a Sunday so as I’m drinking my beer I’m waiting for the preacher to come out along with the choir LOL I had the best potato pancakes I’ve ever had besides my mothers LOL great atmosphere awesome job turning an abandoned church into a microbrewery/restaurant. As a rideshare Drive her I always recommend this place the people that are looking for a unique experience like I had.

This place is so insanely beautiful and I love the recycle of church to brewhouse I'm not sure there is anything like it. ? We ordered the perogies & the malted bread pudding. The perogies we're so soft and they seemed very homemade. The bread pudding was dense and sweet and filled with raisins and I was so happy the entire time I was eating it. Magnificent. So interesting. One of the most unique places I have been in Pittsburgh so far. It was so much fun to be here. ❤️

I like that this building was repurposed and not distroyed , but it was very disheartening to see garbage in the old holy water fonts . I’m sure the land at one time was donated and funded by parishioner money long ago .. as a practicing Catholic I felt sad .

Unique concept and interior — and the outdoor terrace is a great option on a sunny day. The IPA is solid, as is the French Onion Soup.

As far as breweries go, this is one of the cooler spaces I’ve seen. The converted church bar/restaurant kept most of the original church architecture, including the stained glass windows, giving this bar a unique, European vibe. The European theme continues through the food and drinks too. The pierogi appetizer and chewy pretzel were great starters, I highly particularly recommend the pierogi.  I was a little disappointed with the mac and cheese, but I did order it with the added chicken and it might have been better without it because the original already had bacon and bratwurst. They also served our beer at room temperature, but that may be consistent with the European theme.
