My favorite Thai in Pittsburgh! Fantastic food and darling seating outside!

Very good Thai food and definitely some of the best in the area! Today's order was pretty simple: just pad Thai and Thai custard with sticky rice. The food was very reasonably priced at just $18 for the two items.I loved my pad Thai. It came in a pretty decent portion with an excellent price. It was a bit sweet, which is the way I like it. There's also a hint of lemon flavor. The protein I selected was chicken, and you don't have to pay extra for it. There's plenty of meat in here, but not too much. The meat was fine flavor wise, but not amazing. A little chewy. The noodles were great, though. It wasn't too oily or too dry like in most other Thai places. It was just the right amount of sauce and moisture, and the perfect sweet/salty balance. The sprouts added a bit of crunch, and your could taste the little pieces of egg. Highly recommend, 4.5/5.The Thai custard was also quite good. The portion was fair and the coconut milk was flavorful, with some black seeds as a topping. The custard itself was a bit on the eggy side, though. The rice was sticky enough and had good flavor. 3.8/5All in all, I'd definitely come back here. The food is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. For a low spiced pad Thai, this was excellent, and the sticky rice is fairly good too.

Awesome spot in Regent Square! Quaint place, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Very nice and helpful staff. One of my new Thai spots, for sure.

We frequently go here for, I think, the best Thai food in the area! The prices are very reasonable and the food is always fresh. I love their Thai rice dish with cashews and (usually add) chicken. I also really like the Massaman curry dish. The service is always prompt and friendly! They have wonderful lunch specials too that include a spring roll and a small amount of salad.

Great for business lunches and dinner dates. Excellent food and service.

Some of my favorite Thai in Pittsburgh! I got Tom Yum (6), partner ordered Pad See Euw (4). Both were spicy, and flavorful. Staff is wonderful. Always worth a visit.Casual dining or takeout

This was my first time ordering here and the staff here were super polite. I ordered the pad Thai and for me it was under spiced (I order mild) and too saucy. It also lacked fresh ingredients to lighten the dish. The chicken in this dish was nice though. Next time I will try another dish.

It is rare for businesses to have a name that is so apt you cannot imagine calling them anything else. Thai Cottage is the exception; it is exactly what it claims to be.Thai Cottage captures the coziness and warmth of its name in both atmosphere and expansive menu. There is plenty of space for those choosing to dine in, and from what I can tell, they have a thriving takeout hustle. For those who choose to imbibe, Thai Cottage is BYOB. However, there are nearby options to pick up your libation of choice, so do not fret.In terms of cusine, expect the familiar Thai favorites comfortably and masterfully served - this is a cottage after all.

Excellent food, nice portions and priced right. We ordered take out and was ready when we arrived. Both the Massaman Curry and the Mango Curry were so delicious! Spring rolls and fresh rolls were good too. This was our second time getting food here and won't be our last.

Maybe the best Thai place in Pittsburgh. Fast service and friendly staff, nice atmosphere inside, and of course delicious food. Try the green curry, the basil eggplant, and the kao soy noodle soup—some of my favourite dishes! Generous to-go portion sizes are also highly appreciated.
