Currently outside this cafe there is a sign that says "(possibly) the gayest cafe in Pittsburgh" and I was really tempted to burst through the door and misquote Will Ferrel's Elf and say "You did it! World's gayest Cafe!" But obviously that wouldn't be appropriate. However, this cafe really is a beacon of hope for businesses to support Pride and LGBTQ+ communities. With all the big corporations waving their pride flags for a month, Taza does so yearly and within the month of June makes noticeable local impacts for our community. Not only do they don the rainbow colors but they support artists host events and offer support. Great coffee and great people.P.s. I highly recommend the hand pies in the fridge, the crust is a national treasure. I truly believe Gordan Ramsey would have nice things to say about it.

Delicious and flavorful! Me and my family tried a latte, drip coffee, and tea, and all were excellent. The server staff was friendly and very attentive. All wore masks! Cute atmosphere, no music playing and seemed like the perfect place to work. Lots of customers had laptops and books. The scones we ordered were also yummy, especially recommend the breakfast hand pie!

Stopped here for a little snack on our ride. Friendly staff, super helpful. Good coffee selection, but we got an iced tea and an oat milk chai. Both were yummy. Also got the veggie empanada—yum i could eat more. Plus a gf vegan snickerdoodle was a great way to finish our treat. Cute spot and ambiance is pretty good inside, but outside is where the vibe is. Would def come back.

Five reasons for five stars ?⭐ Staff is nice and such a good vibe⭐ I really enjoyed my cup of coffee⭐ The strawberry scone was super yummy⭐ They have a featured artist of the month with business cards available⭐ Super cool album of the week indicated above their insta and wifi password

LOVED this place, went two mornings of a 3-day stay in Shadyside. Great coffee, lovely people and vibe, beautiful neighborhood, outdoor seating available. The breakfast hand pies were delicious, too (from 350° Bakery). Mmmmm, I want to go back Now.

Cute little local cafe! I actually had a few people recommend this to me before I finally tried and it has become a weekly staple for me! The website is a little misleading and got my hopes up to try their amazing menu. But unfortunately due to covid, I was notified that they're not serving food right now. Baked goods (try the cookie!!) will have to do for now and do not disappoint!

Really good chai and delicious baked goods. Outside tables are a great local hangout. I love to stop here after bicycling in Highland Park.

Coffee was great...nice atmosphere...but the hot chocolate needs work. Too watered down, not alot of chocolate flavor.

We were not allowed to order without a mask. Ten people all around us without masks. Apparently the virus know whether you are ordering or already have your coffee. It’s a very smart bug. We left and went to their competition.

Beautiful cafe and great food. Tried the samosa pie and pumpkin spice muffin. I'd have them again.
