Food was good. They actually match the spice levels based on the requirements. Good hospitality. Their breadbasket is unique but tasty. It’s a unique experience. A house is renovated with seating provisions to make it into a restaurant . Nice wall hangings. Well maintained interior. No separate parking provision. Should park on the street.

Great flavors and portions in a cozy old house environment!

Years ago, this was my favorite place for Indian. No more. Twice we were served dog food. Paneer that tasted like an eraser and had the same tough, dense, disgusting texture. Basmati rice that is entirely tasteless and looks mushed. Riata that was also flavorless, liquid, and poorly executed. Just everything was bad, really bad. Gave them a second shot, but no more. Never again. So sad, too bad.

Tamarind is the restaurant we order take out from most often. The food is always delicious! The chicken tika masala and mutter penner are our personal favorites. Their samosas are also great. Honestly everything on their menu is great.

The seating is a little uncomfortable but our food (Tandoori chicken and Kadi paneer) were both very good with a large quantity. Would come again.

extremely dysfunctional service. was seated at a dirty table, bits of food everywhere and was assured he would be back to clean it. he never came, we moved ourselves to a clean table next to us after watching another worker clean it. food came out quickly, though we never received water after asking multiple times. the two of us had to share 1 ginger ale that didnt last past the appetizer and never got refilled. the food was very good. we finished it and sat for a half hour waiting for a check, or at least water, before i had to go track it down myself. many other tables had to do the same. the place wasnt very busy yet the atmosphere was total chaos

We ordered Mirchi Bhaji, Butter Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa and Podi Dosa. All items are excellent. No Complaint with Sambhar at the same time, I wont say it is a great sambhar. coconut chutney is cold, Tastewise good. if you wanna have dosa in and around pittsburgh this is the best place. Restaurant ambience ok, Staffs are friendly.

I had the chicken korma and a mango lassi for takeout. The flavors were all very good and the portions were enough to fill me up. The place was hopping so I thought it must be good and they didn't disappoint. Restaurant is in a cool old house so not a ton of seating space and the entrance area is a little awkward when there is a crowd, but if you are looking for tasty takeout you have come to the right place.

Food was delicious! The onion and garlic naan were sooo good.
