My wife is from China and this is her favorite Chinese restaurant in the Pittsburgh area! We've been many times and although the prices aren't super cheap, it's well worth it. Delicious flavors and a great place to eat Taiwanese style food.
Delicious food and friendly people. Will be coming back here. The soup dumpling were my favorite.
Hmm, hole in the wall restaurant with a wide and fantastic menu. The place was packed and yet the service was still excellent and fast. Kitchen had everything out with admirable timing. To make the point, the squid was perfect. Proper flavor, proper mouth feel. To do squid right, under pressure, my hat is off to the kitchen. The stinky tofu is also amazing! My thanks to the staff, you made my day.
Good Taiwanese food. Wish they have better seat setup. Very tight space in there especially we not completely out from the pandemic as yet.

Can't recommend this place enough. The food was amazing. I had short ribs with spicy sauce and sauteed mushrooms with salt and pepper, both outstanding. Something to note...the mushrooms with salt and pepper have are lightly battered then fried and not really sauteed.
First time trying Cafe 33, we got the Beef Lo Mein and Chicken Basil Garlic Hot Pot. Definitely one of the best Pittsburgh meals we've had to date!
Excellently prepared fresh dishes, broad range, exceptional service, fairly-priced, pleasant atmosphere. Also has covered outside dining. Varied drinks also offered. A definite return visit is planned. Private Parking available.
Thank goodness for my wonderful waitress! I didn't know what quite a few items on the menu were, and she explained it to me and made excellent recommendations. Very nice place!
