Full bar, good beer selection (including a sour I liked - I'm not normally a beer fan). Very limited menu, but we all enjoyed our chicken strips. The Cajun strips didn't have enough seasoning, but they brought out more when I requested it.Service was friendly and very good initially, then it was harder to get our waiter's attention. I'm sure we'll return.
Went on a Monday early afternoon. Only 3 other customers were in the dining room. We were seated. Waited for 10 minutes. No one EVER came to take our order. Another couple came in and their order was taken as they were being seated. We left. We have been there before. I guess we were ghosts. We will NOT be returning. They just lost us as customers. Will not recommend.
This place was a tossup. We went in the evening. The restaurant was largely empty, except for a wedding party that was done with dinner and just talking. The appetizers were pretty good, which isn’t too much of a surprise because who doesn’t like fried goodies? But as for the meals… they left something to be desired. The meals took over an hour to arrive, and the order was not correct or complete. My brother ordered the grilled vegetables and they forgot them, then made them and they tasted (I’m not kidding) like propane. Most of the food was either cold or just okay. The waitress did her best but ultimately it’s the kitchen that ruined this dinner out.
I have been to Sunny Jim's multiple times but last night I went for a friends birthday and we had a table of 10. There were times we waited a little longer than expected for drinks but overall our waitress was on top of everything and none of the orders got messed up which was impressive! I had the pulled pork sandwich for the first time and it was amazing!
I love this place honestly loved going here but last two times I was here left a very bitter taste in my mouth. Today my gf and I got the prime rib special which we tend to do every Friday we are here. However this time was very different. We both ordered prime rib med-rare. My girl friends was medium mine was medium well to well. I couldn't eat it tasted more like jerky thank prime rib. I said something to waitress who then told me that's how they all are like she knew ahead of time. Also told the manager and he said I understand and you should have came earlier. He also told me he would comp it since I did not eat it. He brought out a medium one that was atleast edible but when someone tells me they are going to do something and don't I do not like that. I never say anything no matter how bad of service or food I get but if your going to tell me that "your buying it and I'll take it off the bill" then I get my bill that has a 5 dollar discount. I'll pass. Time to find a new place for prime rib.

Had 5 Coronas between wife and Charged for 9 I questioned the girl she said Trust me you had 9 We cant drink 9 in an hr She said oh well and did nothing Had to ask for service several times WILL NEVER RETURN
Went there for a party and had a great time!Staff was friendly and everything we had was fresh and good. Fried chicken was delicious.I will definitely go back there again and try their regular menu.

I worked there and in all honesty the kitchen staff barely wears gloves. I've seen them drop food on the floor and still serve it to customers. And a lot of the staff feel like you owe them like you should be tipping way more than what you're supposed to be.
