My wife and I recently had a dinner reservation at Spork to celebrate our anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. We enjoyed the locally sourced produce and creative preparations.
Just an outstanding dinner. The courses spread out perfectly to enjoy each tasting and drinks. Cannot wait to go back.
We went out of our way to make reservations here for my wife's birthday. High expectations. The service started out great, The small plates and little surprises in between courses were incredible, breadboard was top-notch. Then we waited forever to get our entrees. We took the waiter rec on the Lamb duo, $88 plate. and it was trying so hard to play different flavors against each other that it made the whole stack of meat and spreads mix together in NOT a good way. it was over-designed and flavors of delicate items competed with each other. BAD and overpriced, barely warm. The ravioli dish was good, not great, and not served fast enough so was barely warm itself. despite this, we still got the trio of deserts and it was the same failure as the lamb, juxtaposing flavors that should not have been. done three times over, on 3 desert items, so like 9 different competing flavors, too much. Should know when to enhance something with a complimentary flavor vs make a dish fight with itself. Note. should have stuck with small plates, would have left very pleased. Waiter asked if I wanted to speak to a manager after I gave our honest feedback to the lamb and if you have to ask, you should probably just do it.
Loved the complimentary champagne to celebrate our anniversary and the many lovely amuse bouchées. Delectable meal, excellent execution! Scallops were quite salty to my taste buds but everything else was superb.
Absolutely wonderful experience, from the starting accoutrements to the dessert. The tableside Old Fashioned was one of the best cocktails I've ever had. Will 100% be back.

Spork is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Pittsburgh right now. Their elevated, high-end service is exceptional while maintaining a casual overall feel that is perfect for date night or business. The menus are creative and inventive and the expertly plated dishes are packed with high-quality ingredients. I will definitely be back again very soon.
