Needs a 6th star. The menu is small, but everything was great. Our host was very helpful selecting a new-to-us dish. It was just my small family so we only had 3 apps and two entrees, and it was so good. Inhaled everything. When you're done there are a bunch of off-site dessert options available too, if you don't go for the fried banana

Such an amazing staff and food!! My all time favorite dish is served here!! 100% recommend the Burmese chicken curry with jasmine coconut rice! This is such a cute establishment and i really hope to see them getting more business! Best small business in Pittsburgh!! And its super affordable! About $12-14 for a homemade Burmese dish! So much love and flavor here!! Go visit them ♥️

The food here is okay. Nothing too memorable or impressive. The tea selection is good, and the people are friendly. It wouldn't be my first, second, or third choice of restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Good to dine in with a former colleague during their limited (noon-2 p.m.) time slot. Take-out available all day long.

We've ordered from here a number of times and the food is always excellent. Plus the staff is really great. They remember regular customer's names and are always very helpful. I've tried a number of different dishes and have enjoyed each one. Their Thai Iced teas and coffees are great, the curries are great, and their fried rices are really wonderful too. If you're looking for something that's a bit different than the average East Asian fair give these folks a go because it's a great mix of stuff from Thai, Bhutanese, and Burmese food.

Really good food! I had extra, extra spicy panang beef with the coconut rice. (Coconut rice is worth the upcharge!) I didn't find it very spicy, but I have an unusually high tolerance for spiciness. I was expecting it to melt my face, but it definitely was not very spicy. She had vegan Singaporean Kway Teow extra spicy. Also was delicious!

The very best. Always consistent. Yum

I love the food here. It’s a hidden gem. It’s also were I took my fiancé on our first date. A great unique restaurant.

Ate here with my fiance to try a curry dish for the first time ever, and can definitely say it did not disappoint! Excellent flavor in the dishes! I don't normally write reviews within ten minutes of finishing a meal, so I must say I was very much in love with the food and service here.

Great food and very friendly owner! Definitely worth visiting Spice Island Tea House and trying new dishes.
