Can’t believe I’ve lived in Bloomfield for two years without coming to Soju. It’s such a cool restaurant with awesome vibes and even better food and drinks. We ordered way too much because everything sounded so good and we were not disappointed. Best tofu we’ve tried in Pittsburgh! Definitely adding this to the date night rotation ✨
The service alone is enough to bring you back. We enjoyed three wonderful dishes, accompanied by equally yummy drinks and soju shots. The staff is just lovely, and to the renaissance gentleman who was behind the bar, touching tables and greeting guests, you are an outstanding human. Thank you all for the delightful experience.
We had so much fun here. The food was delicious but the soju is genuinely next level. It is immaculate alcohol without so much bite. You really have to try it, it's so smooth. We tried a few new foods that were so so good and genuinely the staff treats you like royalty. I can not wait to come back.
I have been to Soju so many times. The food is incredible. Can be a bit pricy for the Pittsburgh market but totally worth it even for takeout.
A pretty unique Asian fusion spot in Pittsburgh, with delicious Kimchi dishes. As an appetizer, you’ve got to try to Korean Fried Chicken, which really could be a meal in itself. The Nori French Fries are tasty and Bippimbap is pretty standard. Our favorite was the Kimchi Fried Rice which is just plain old delicious. Plan ahead because spot fill up quickly.
It was my birthday and my family took me out to Soju's restaurant. I loved the bibinpap rice bowl with vegetables with an egg on top which was nutritious and tasty. Other tasty dishes were the BBQ chicken and bulgogi. The restaurant was busy on Saturday so we had to wait for a table. It was worth the wait, though. Food is good!
This place is a really great place to eat. It's a small place but nice staff and great atmosphere. The food is definitely delicious, my mother is from South Korea and would really appreciate the food and it's exact taste. We will definitely be back.
This place was absolutely outstanding. Was the wait long, yes. Was it worth the wait, oh hell yes. Everyone was so warm and kind and the food was absolutely outstanding. As with most of the great Pittsburgh restaurants, it is a FUSION restaurant. It blends Korean and Japanese inspired dishes with the comfort foods you know and love. Don’t let the bad reviews from people who still use the word hipster and are trying to make funny jokes to sound way cooler than you because they “KnOw WhAt AuThEnTiC iS” As a small business owner this is everything I wish my business to be. Great staff, inviting location, and insanely delicious food that is unlike anywhere else in the city.
Might be my favorite place I've eaten visiting Pittsburgh for four days. Great value with easily sharable appetizers and main dish. Total was $43 for two with one app, one main, and some fries to help clean up the nachos. Long wait (30+ minutes) so leave your name and take a walk.
Soju is an incredibly cute little spot, with interesting decor, a great selection of food & drinks, and incredible pleasant staff. Walking in, you're greeted to a small, cozy eatery that almost feels like a nice home. The menu is comfortably sized- you've got plenty of options without being tremendously overwhelmed. And when we went, we had a group of 8, each getting a variety of meals and 3 different starters- and every last thing tasted absolutely incredible. It was well priced for the amazing quality of food. I really enjoyed my time here, and I know I will be coming back in the very near future- and many times after that.
