I have now visited here three times, and each time the food and/or drinks were excellent! The Tonkotsu Ramen was really tasty and so is the wagyu robata! That being said, the place is a bit overpriced. I've had better Ramen and a better Mai Tai in other places for much cheaper. I feel that the price you pay at this place is more for the environment than for the actual food. I love the atmosphere of this place and that's what really keeps me coming back- there is so much cool stuff to see everywhere you look! The biggest drawback was honestly the service, as it felt somewhat lacking each time. We had a different server every time, and none of them were particularly attentive even when the place was nearly empty of other customers. Just as a small example, we ran out of water about halfway through our meal and never got the chance to ask for another. On another occasion, the bartender asked to run my companion's card without letting her actually see the check first. When my friend asked for the printed check, the girl acted annoyed and went and made cocktails for a bunch of other customers before finally stopping at the computer to print the check, which only took a few seconds as opposed to the ten minutes or so that she made us wait for it.

jasmine made me the best drink of my life (the black and gold, love a great tequila cocktail) and gave me such great service even tho I could tell she was super busy. From one customer service worker to another I was really impressed by her knowledge of any question I had.Definitely will be back if just for jasmine alone!!

My brother and I stayed in Pittsburgh for the weekend and stumbled upon Social House as our last night was winding down. We decided to sit down at the streetside bar and have one last drink to conclude our amazing trip. We ended up staying for several drinks till they closed and it was all due to the amazing, and charismatic bartender, Jenna! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and the service that Jenna provided. Thank you

Beautiful atmosphere. Well done decor. Came here before doing to Eleven down the street for dinner. Got an expresso martini (with vanilla vodka, suggestion from bartender). Got the spring rolls and edamame. The edamame had ranch dust, very yummy. The spring rolls were small enough for a food appetizer. Bathrooms were clean. Only suggestion, the margarita was huge. Too big. Served in a pint glass, needs to be served in a rocks glass.

Normally don’t review but…I was excited to come here for the first time. Cool, cluby atmosphere but highly disappointed by the food & slow service. Our table got two apps - the tempura broccolini and the rock shrimp both of which are covered in kewpie mayo. The shrimp, not only was it $25 but it was soggy and not crispy at all. The tempura batter was raw and stuck between the massive pieces of broccoli which were the genuinely the size of my fist. Not to mention my bill was so expensive - $100 for two drinks & two apps :/ my friend enjoyed her godzilla roll so that’s a plus!

We had theater tickets for 7:30pm, so we made 5:30 reservations thinking this gave ample time for a Weds. night. When we got there, there were maybe people at 3 other tables. Nonetheless, our waitress did not come to our table to ask us if we wanted anything until 5:50pm. My husband got his drink at 6:20- at which point I was than informed, by the manager who was serving at that point, the restaurant no longer carried the drink I ordered- this had not been communicated to me when I ordered 30 mins earlier. btw, so I ordered a glass of wine which I actually got an additional 30 mins later, despite being told by the manager I would get it 'right away'- a theme. Regarding food- my husband got his sushi (which he said was good) eventually. By 630ish, it was admittedly filling up- it seemed the host/manager started serving food- our waitress never came by our table again. When I wanted to ask about my order around 640, the waitress walked right by, didn't stop and didn't apologize for the delay. When an order came closer to 7, it was the wrong food and the manager had the audacity give me attitude- I have been a vegetarian my whole life, so no it isn't possible that I ordered the meat dish she wanted me to take. The manager also told us that our appetizer would be 'right up,' which was true if right up meant 20 more mins & when we had to leave to get to the theatre. Terrible experience, rude staff all around. We saw at least three tables get up and leave due, and we barely got to the theatre (a min. walk from the restaurant) on time.

This place is very cool and the food is absolutely delicious! I had the tonkotsu ramen and my wife had the hamchi crudo. We split a flight of sake and a spicy tuna roll. All of it was top notch. The sushi tasted super fresh. The pork in the ramen was unmatched. It was crispy yet tender. My wife describes it as "12/10" haha. Would highly suggest visiting.

I used to loveeee this place before the pandemic. It shut down and opened again with minimal renovation. When my bf and I went here to meet some friends, we loved the environment while we waited at the bar. The restaurant niceties ended there. We were seated at our table and our server automatically started pushing the Valentines $150 a person multi-course meal. I am saying he asked us if we wanted it right after he said they had it and held up the menu. We politely declined and started to look at the actual menu. The server was strange throughout and overall not good. The food was fine but not wowing as before. Everything was super pricey for what you got- from the drinks to the food. Probably won't go back which is a real bummer. Bring back prepandemic Social!

Worst service we’ve ever had, but that is just kind amp’d group’s whole thing. Sitting in the bar area and being told by the bartender that he can’t serve us because we have to wait for our waiter might be a little annoying when there is no one at the bar itself, but it makes sense. They have a system. After almost 15 minutes watching us not get any attention the bartender kindly made an exception and served us. After asking the host for a server, we were given menus and they said they’d look for our server. 45 minutes later, having long finished our drinks we left. The host wasn’t even apologetic, just explained “your server decided to work in another section tonight.” How is that okay? One star is generous. Avoid.

Two stars because the aesthetic and the music are popping!“oh no we’ve been hit with a gen z restaurant.”I ordered the Sake Sangria and ended up sending it back. I won’t rag on it because it might just be my personal taste. The pork gyoza was simply ok. It had no flavor and honesty was only decent because it was fried. The tonkatsu ramen (which the hostess had no clue what it was) was OILY, flavorless and came with spaghetti noodles. These people have no business running a Japanese restaurant. My allergies immediately flared up, probably due to the decor… The bathroom was out of toilet paper and paper towel. I had two glasses of water. They were good.
