After two years of living in Lawrenceville, we finally tried SMOKE. We've been kicking ourselves since that we hadn't tried it sooner, but better late than never. The sheetpan nachos and queso are so uniquely good. Though they may have been busy, our service was also great and the staff were attentive. Would definitely go back!
Incredible pineapple margaritas. Food was AMAZING and incredibly flavorful. Portions were huge (maybe because we're Canadians visiting America?) but 1 taco was a big portion! Friendly and quick service too ??
Visited the city for the first time and I am very pleased I tried this place. It’s the love of BBQ and tacos combined. Our server was super friendly and completed the lovely experience. The restaurant is beautiful. The food *chef’s kiss*. Savory and full of flavor. PGH has something special with a place like this! Make sure to try their homemade sodas… along with everything else ;)
I’m sitting here, thinking about how I think of PGH as a food desert at times and how I can’t take another bite w out honoring this food and the people that make this food w a stellar review. Some people enjoy food and know how to create a exceptional experience and this place does that w their heart.I love my life even more thanks to this meal.Best wishes to all that step into this meat temple.
Very tasty, convenient order at table. The fresh soda was good, I had the blackberry.
The tacos were phenomenal. The drinks were delicious. And the people working there were awesome. The ultimate chicken taco and the migas taco were my favorite!
I was so excited to try this place...but sadly it was a complete let down. The food was over-hyped, over-priced and over-smoked. If you want to eat the semblance of a tortilla-wrapped burnt log AND pay 20% tip to someone even though you are your own server, this is the place for you. Worse, the hipster schmoozy server will convince you to just be patient, all while you wait over an hour for mediocre tacos. I rarely tell the staff that a meal was unacceptable they agreed and apologized but did nothing to remedy the situation. Will never go back.
The chefs at Smoke Taqueria are creative geniuses!!! They serve doughnuts on Sunday. Each week…a different masterpiece shows up on their Instagram and website.This past Sunday they served a Chocolate Covered Banana Pudding Doughnut! Chef’s kiss!! This doughnut took me 2 days to eat. Each bite more delicious than the previous one!Y’all, their Boston Crème doughnut used to be the best doughnut I’ve ever tasted…but now this is my new favorite!!Incredibly delicious!!!! Sooooooo good!!!
The Mushie Taco is tOOooOo GOOD! Ordered to go tacos were nice in presentation, fresh & hot! Host was super Pleasant! Will definitely get more tacos in the future! Very delicious!
As a vegetarian, I love their shroom taco. Their tortilla is so soft and delicious. I usually request to add avacado crema making it even more yummy. The whole smoked mushrooms with corn, fried onions and crema tastes amazing. I like the texture overall. I’ve tried queso n chips, egg taco and other veg taco.. all taste good. But shrooms is the best if you like mushrooms. My husband had double chicken and it was amazing too! They now give orders in a togo and the dine in experience has changed a little.
