I rode my motorcycle 45 miles to dine here. I had the “You can’t eat it” pastrami sandwich with Swiss. It was fantastic. I’ll be back.
Absolutely delicious! You can tell the people here all take pride in there work. I had a sandwich the first time and it was great! There customer service it over the top! The second time I came I had an omelet and it definitely hits the spot. I recommend this place to anybody. Clean dining room and you can bring the family.
Called in a large catering order last week and had great communication and ordering suggestions based on our head count. Showed up 5 minutes early to pick up the order and it they were just packing up the last of it as I arrived Payment was simple, they loaded it in my car for me and my team loved the food. The coleslaw was delicious, as promised, the sandwiches were great, everyone loved the pickles. Highly recommend!
Corned beef with Swiss and deli mustard with matzo ball soup
Incredible food with incredible people. This is the quintessential, family owned, Pittsburgh deli experience.
The food is great but the service wasn't pleasant. I'm sure if you call your order and and swing it to pick it up, you'll be fine but don't go in trying to decide bc the owner will snap out on you bc you can't make back or forth of the weird chalkboard menu that looks like it was penned from Charlie's journal in its Always Sunny. So unless you go in specifically looking for "Denim Chicken", the menu is barely readable and the staff don't want to be bothered to translate the doodles. Good meat quality though.
First time there was awesome. Got the grilled chicken sandwich
The best pastrami sandwich I have ever had.
Food was really good but i felt like the prices where pretty high for small sandwich like i was really ready for another full sandwich.
If you like your corned beef and pastrami near bone dry and essentially void of taste this will be OK. Unfortunately it's the only game in town for brisket-based Jewish-style deli meats. Matzo ball soup is adequate, and various salads and other items in the counter case look OK. Essentially, the ambiance is Blah and with very limited seating it's better used as a take-out joint.
