First time there, it was so much fun and So Different!! Went there with my best friend for a evening out. Great service and fun place to hang and play indoor and outdoor games! Their mini bowling set up was so fun and neat. Drinks were good, great server as well. So much to do in one place under one roof. Definitely north shore experience and scenic view right behind it. You can see the city when your outside drinking. Playing Outdoor Jenga and bean bag toss... a fire place and bunch of tables to eat and hang. Definitely Our favorite spot!!!!
It was so much fun! The staff was really nice!! Duckpin was a great time!! Such a clean place too! The tacos and the corn was so delicious!
Shorty’s is a fabulous new addition to the North Shore. The atmosphere is fun and energetic, and they have a very nice outdoor space with fire pits too. There is a variety of fun games and entertainment options. We enjoyed spending time here with our friends and had a blast with the duckpin bowling and shuffle board. We sampled some great cocktails on tap and several delicious tacos and nachos. The service was attentive and personable. If you are looking for a unique experience with great food, cocktails, and retro entertainment…..This is a must try!!We can’t wait to return soon.Thank you Shorty’s for a memorable night!
Visited here on 4/15! Our server, Daisha, was fantastic. Good service is hard to come by, but she was very attentive & personable.Drinks were great, we didn’t partake in any of the games, but we really enjoyed the ambience. We would have played the duck pins if the price wasn’t so expensive. We sat at a table when you first walk in and, being in the hospitality industry, and watching guests enter I have some advice….Invest in a greeter to greet guests when they first walk in. Since the place is newer, most guests walking in most likely have never been there before. It can be a little overwhelming not knowing where to go or sit. Almost everyone who walked in seems to have the same reaction.Yes there is a stand off to your left, but again, if you’ve never been before, you don’t know where to look or go. A greeter/hostess can really create that welcoming experience from the moment they walk in, as the place needs a little explanation on how everything works.Overall, really great concept and would go back!
Fun place with good drinks & food and fast service. I thought it odd that they ONLY have tacos, nachos, queso, salsa, & guacamole. However, everyone in our party likes Mexican food, so it worked out.I'd never been duck bowling before abs I'm not a huge fan of what the stings do, but tho the very small ball and/or large spacing between the tiny pins made suck bowling difficult, it was a lot of fun. Also, the rewards program is amazing. We got food and drinks then went to bowl. We got a few more drinks and had enough points to cover that bill. We just had to tip for that round.
Food not so great! Customer service was good though!
First time here tonight had sucha great time the atmosphere is definitely fun and busy even on a Tuesday but then again it was opening night for the pirates lol it's a open concept with tons of games and duck bowling ..my friend and I heard mixed reviews about the food but decided to try the tacos I got the cola cooked carnita tacos and it was pretty good Duck bowling is 20 per person for an hour if you have a small group you can definitely get about 3 games in which was alot of fun! Deff recommend going in the evening or during happy hour they have a fireplace outside and it's just really nice right next to the water ..beautiful views also don't forget the photo booth! Go with a group or on a nice date night you will have a blast ?
Cool new spot and awesome energy! Tons of space indoor and out and games everywhere. The drafts were great and the tacos were delicious! I’d recommend the carnitas and sweet potato and sprout taco!! Really nice servers as well!
We were met with a long spiel through the door on how things worked. We were ready to play on an open shuffleboard table, but somehow another group booked it right from under us. They'll have you leave your phone number with them and they'll alert you when your table is ready. The draft beer menu was vast and varietal. We ordered drink while we waited.Once we arrived at our shuffleboard table, the previous group had spilled a drink into the the table. We alerted the staff and luckily the patrons next us were done with their game so we popped over to that one.A gentleman took drink orders from us while we were at the table. For all the little mishaps, the staff was always ready and willing to assist to make the best experience possible. Though it wasn't a perfect experience, they deserve a perfect rating because in the end we had a really great time.
Wanted to review to give a shout out to the bouncers who were great and the waitresses who were pretty available considering it was a busy Saturday night. Definitely show up early to grab a table. The nachos were good but wouldn’t recommend the tacos. Some games were only available for private parties to play. Bowling is $20 a person and there was a decent wait so we didn’t check it out. A bit loud but still really fun for a group to hang out for a few hours. The outdoor space is awesome and will be a great place to hang out in the summer.
