If you, like I, were just thinking "Now, where can I find some excellent healthy food at a fair price, late at night, and owned by a neighbor?" this place checks all of the boxes. This was, without a single doubt, the best Gyro I have ever had!I recommend ordering in person. They prepare your order right in front of you. I wasn't all that hungry till I got inside and saw and smelled all the good fresh food. But they're available for delivery through GrubHub and UberEats too.So, I went back and got the lamb over rice. I don't know if I can finish all of this before bed time. This is how I like to end a work night.

If you are visiting Pittsburgh and need a 100% guaranteed flavorful and fulfilling meal, THIS IS THE PLACE!My crew and I coming from Chicago all agree this food was top notch and will make this our new spot because that Red and White sauce combo was *chef's kiss*Wish we ordered one to bring back to the hotel but really though....come through and you're welcome ✌?

This restaurant has genuinely good food but the service is quite terrible. Only my first order ever from the restaurant (combo over rice) was correct, with the next two missing a significant chunk of either protein ordered. Ordered extra protein on my latest order and got extra salad instead..Don't bother ordering online, your order WILL be wrong.

We went to the new location in the Robinson Walmart. I am so excited they opened here as I used to frequent the carts in NY. We ordered a combo platter with white sauce and hot sauce on the side. The food was amazing. We will be going back

I’ve given Shah’s three tries because I really wanted to like them, but I can’t give them any more. The food is tasty but literally never correct. For example:1. I consistently order white sauce on the combo platter and it is sometimes included, sometimes not, sometimes only on one platter and not the other I ordered for my spouse. Always a toss up.2. Don’t pay for the pita and hummus, it’s a joke. It’s pita with a very tiny amount of hummus scraped on it and folded in half, which is not worth $4 (plain pita is only $3).3. They don’t pay attention to what vegetables you want on the salad- sometimes I get random things I didn’t ask for and other times I don’t get what I asked for. Tonight I asked for chickpeas and there are none, and this is a consistent issue.Again, tastes good, but for the price I just want what I ordered, and I never get that here. Save your money and order from another spot where you get what you asked for. I ordered online with clear selections every time so there was no reason the orders should constantly be incorrect.

Going over there for like3 months it’s very much better at that time when it’s first open but now I see that fromThe last month or so it’s down the hill no management seen over there only one guy is at the counter and not wearing gloves no smile on the face looks rude all the time two time give me the wrong order which I didn’t order plus forget it about the gyros which he gave me the chicken is like more the. 2 days old no taste at all I just throw it in the garbage. Not feeling like going again over . Very happy at the first time a NY halal chain is now in Pittsburgh but very much disappointed .

After placing an order online 30 minutes ago, when we arrived the employees working informed us their online system wasn’t working and we’d have to wait and then tell them what we order so they could make it. They then proceeded to give several customers who walked in their online orders. There were many online orders sitting there as well none of which were labeled with names. Top 3 worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had, and the food was average at best once we finally got it after waiting 20 more minutes at the restaurant

Ordered online for pickup. Got a call from Shah's a few minutes later: their fish and falafel was frozen so they'd need to thaw, and my order could be ready in two hours. No biggie! I wasn't that hungry, and they promised to call when the food was ready. Two hours later I hadn't heard anything, so I gave Shah's a call. Everything was still in the freezer, they had no idea what I was talking about, and now were saying my food simply couldn't be made. Great.I'm not mad if something's out of stock, etc., these things happen. But to lie to me? Have me wait two hours for nothing? Extremely frustrating. The food is tasty, but the place is not run well. Prepare from problems if you order from Shah's online.

I can't say enough good things about Shah's. The atmosphere is phenomenal, they've done a great job with the decor and have really made it an inviting place to be. They're also one of Pittsburgh's few late night options and bless them for it.The food is fantastic and the service is friendly!

We ordered a couple of dishes a few weeks ago and they were both missing key components. They came quickly and we were excited to sit down and have a late dinner.. but when we opened the containers they were both only half right. When we called, the manager told us they ran out of the items but assured us that he would issue a refund. It’s been 3 weeks and no refund. Just noticed that instead of issuing a refund they billed us an extra $11 for change items to our order.I’m disappointed with the experience. Be careful this doesn’t happen to you. This order was from Grubhub but it appears too late to write a review on that app.
