The Best Asian Restaurant in Pittsburgh hands down. Slightly more expensive than average Chinese take out, but well worth it for a special night of dining. The attention to detail is amazing in everything they do, down to the homemade sauces and dressings for the egg rolls and salads. The service is great and helpful, we have been here many times and have never left disappointed.

For your health and wallet, Keep away from this restaurant !!!I went to this restaurant for dinner, and I ordered the Mongolian beef, however I had diarrhea very bad in 10 minutes after dinner (i don'twant to post the picture of diarrhea), it is horrible, Keep away from this sesame inn restaurant for your health, this restaurant is next to toyota dealor.Also this is the only asian restaurant which charge for hot water, it is ridiculous.the weather today is a little chilly, so I asked one glass of hot water to warm up, and the waiter told me that the restaurant has hot tea, I told him that I don't drink tea, just need a cup of hot water, finally he bring me a hotpot with hot water only, but he charge me $3.00 in bill, when I ask him why he charge me $3.00 for hot water, which is not in the memu? and no restaurant charge for hot water, he said that it is the restaurant's new policy, but it is not in the menu, and also the waiter didn't tell me that they will charge for hot water, it is ridiculous.
We have to go here every time we are back in Pittsburgh. Still the best Chinese food around. The amazing chicken is the best kept secret (high quality chicken in a great sauce at a reasonable price). Best egg rolls around too. Will always be back!
Way better than you'd expect when you pull in and see it's connected to a car dealership. Once inside you'll forget all about that. The decor is well done and the ace is always clean. The wait staff is helpful. The food portions are good sized and the flavors are the best by far that I've found in the 'burgh. The bar is small but usually not crowded. There is also a separate room for large parties.

Calm, clean and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. True artisans of Asian cuisine.. The best lettuce wraps anywhere..an explosion of taste and texture like never before.. Take the ride and visit Sesame Inn, you won't regret it.
I have had wonderful dinners in the past so after a long day, I decided to order take out. From the moment we all took a bite, it lacked any taste whatsoever. We ordered medium spice, there was no spice or taste. My daughters meal was so sweet, she couldn't finish it. It wasn't cheap either. Two moo shoo (one no meat) and a basil chicken was over $50. I won't go back.

Dinner starts with appetizers Sampler includes Coconut Shrimp, Teriyaki Chicken, Crabmeat Rangroos, Egg rolls. Two entrees 1. Sashimi Platter-15 pieces assortment of fishwith steam rice included Soup and House Salad which goes well with warm sake. 2. Amazing Chicken- strips of chicken breast dipped in a light batter and lightly fried to perfection along with tangy signature sauce.
Food is always good. I could go for a portion that is half the size/price. I mostly enjoy the uneaten portion of my order the next day but, every once in a while, I forget about it or conditions prevent me from eating at home and then the leftovers go to waste. My fault, no doubt, but I hate when that happens.
