Have been a fan and customer of Salud for many years. Mostly the location on fifth Avenue. Decided to try out the shadyside location with a friend of mine who has allergies.This locations staff, specifically a male, was the most rude and unhelpful store employee I have ever come across. She was asking questions to make sure she would not have a reaction, things that other salud locations have accommodated for her. This man didn't give her any suggestions and each thing she asked he would say, we don't have that. Can't do that. Very short and rude.Being frustrated my friend decided not to order anything and bring her service to Starbucks across the street.I still ordered my drink and decided to order a juice cleanse. About an hour after leaving something came up and I now have to go into surgery. I called the location right at 8:00 to let them know I will not be able to complete my juice cleanse and the man said who I'm pretty sure was the same man from the day prior said "well I'm not going to dump it out and waste it" and would not give me a refund but only store credit. Jokes on you because I will never be back to redeem that store credit. Awful service awful man.Update:My friend has decided to call the store to speak to the man himself, who we have found out is the owner. He told her that it's not his problem she has allergies and that he was never going to make a drink for her. SECOND of all he told her to keep running her mouth and that it would end very badly for her. The police have been called.
Service was great. Smoothie was delicious. Will go again.

I love the drinks, especially blue lemonade and cloud warrior.
Makes a pretty good strawberry banana spinach smoothie; the five year old who needs more veggies in his diet unknowingly approves. Highly recommended.
